Tinubu has formed another Fulani elders group.

This new group is a fraud.

The only recognize Fulani group is Miyetti Allah
It's actually so sad and Pathetic. I just googled the groups name as well as the guy that did the rebuttal, they do not existence anywhere except for this rebuttal. Literally couldn't find any other article about them. Just do a Google search on the group. It's so Desperate and Pathetic. I would have pitied Afonja if not for the fact they taught they were smart despite the handwriting was clear as daylight from day one. The so called and self claimed "political sophisticated" getting played like mugus and they have to recreate media group to combat it. Chei.

In 1999..... The only National Party in the country presented Obasanjo as president... He won convincingly in all south east states... Go check

In 2023... PDP zoned the president to the north... Let's say a kwakwanso or Tambuwal picking his VP from South South... Or south East...

They will run against Osibanjo or Tinubu... Picking their VP from the North...

APc will fail woefully even before the elections start...

Obasanjo was an Hausa candidate.. Hausas and Fulanis endorsed him after he defeated Alex Ekweme an Igbo man in the primaries. YORUBA Did not supported Obasanjo.
You people ignore the southerners party AD and voted Northerners PDP.

Igbo people are quick to see failure but come 2023 any candidate in Apc will defeat northerners candidate.

So you think the powerful SS governors like Wike, Okowa, Udom, the Jonathan's and their friends from the SE like Obi, Ekweremadu, T.a Orji and all the great senators and billionaires stake holders from SS and SE who have been the life blood and sponsors of PDP will give the presidency or Vice to the West then you must be an empty head.

I won't argue about ss but don't even include se. PDP will not make that mistake by going for SE because their electoral outing in the last election was so poor that no presidential aspirant would want to dine with them. As far as it concerns west give PDP upto 50% in this last election which pocket what East gave them

Its time you realise south west has nothing in PDP because they have not forgiven your 2015 betrayer.

Ebullience:
Fulani elders under the platform of concerned Fulani leaders forum (CFLF) have called Bello Bodejo, president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a “fraudster,” who lacked the mandate and credibility to speak on behalf of the ethnic group.

The CFLF’s censure comes on the back of a statement by Bodejo, during an interview with Saturday Sun, where he dismissed the possibility of Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

“What I know is that Tinubu cannot be the president of Nigeria. That is the truth. He is very old and maybe older than President Buhari,” he had said.

But Muhammad Musa Bawa, on behalf of the forum, issued a statement, on Sunday, where he questioned the credentials of Bodejo and slammed him for attempting to arrogate to himself the power of Nigerians to determine who leads them.

“We note with dismay a publication in The Sun Newspaper of Saturday April 27, 2019 and attributed to one Alhaji Bello Bodejo, the self- acclaimed President of MiyettiAllah Kautal Hore, an association mischievously conceived to serve some dubious interests. In the publication, Bello Bodejo was quoted as casting aspersions on the person of All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the statement read.

“Bello Bodejo’s statement is unfortunate and repulsive in all ramifications. For one, he lacks the mandate and credibility to speak on behalf of the Fulani. He has lost the confidence of our people because of his criminal activities, which are well known to us. We challenge him to come out and tell the whole world how his younger brother was killed during an alleged robbery operation at Saminaka in Lere LGA, using his Hilux vehicle.

“Bello Bodejo is a known fraudster who has made a career out of duping poor members of his Fulani community. As at today, he leads one of the biggest cattle-rustling-gangs in the North central zone, a morally-depraved man who could not keep even a woman as wife in his house. Such a person cannot be taken seriously or be highly regarded as to speak for others.

“Bello Bodejo stands for everything unethical. His questionable antecedents speak volumes about him and his ways. When he realised he cannot actualize his nefarious activities under any decent association, he resorted to desperate moves, contacting prominent politicians, soliciting for patronage and claiming to be a leader of the Fulani under Kautal Hore, a handbag association where he is law unto himself.

“In 2015, he aligned himself with the then-governing PDP. To worm himself into the heart of the party, he headed for Aso Rock Villa where he endorsed former President Goodluck Jonathan in the name of Fulani in Nigeria, a crime the Fulani people are yet to forgive him for. He castigated General Muhammadu Buhari, calling him all kinds of unprintable names.

“In the run-up to the 2019 election, Bello Bodejo also made frantic efforts to align with the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, holding several meetings with him in his Asokoro residence. When all efforts to dupe Atiku Abubakar failed, he resorted to outright blackmail, again saying many unpalatable things about Atiku.

“He later made frantic efforts to reach out to Asiwaju Tinubu in January, 2019 to sell himself as someone with mass followers. But his satanic plans couldn’t sail through with a highly-intelligent Asiwaju, who can identify a fraudster when he sees one, hence Bello Bodejo’s unprovoked outburst.

“Nigerians should know Bello Bodejo through his past antecedents. He is worthless and must be seen as such. He does not command any decent followership as his criminal records speak volumes about him. He is a fraudster with questionable background who derives pleasure in intimidating people using his clandestine activities.

“It is instructive to note that the Fulani culture abhors shameful and disrespectful conduct, especially in relating to our elders. We call on Bodejo to desist forthwith from using the name of Miyetti Allah to spread his odious gospel of hate. He should tender an unreserved apology to Asiwaju.”

Tinubu should forget about 2023.
The handwriting of “use and dump” is clearly on the wall.

I’m sure he’s seen it. He’s just pretending that it’s not there.

He held his birthday and colloquium in Abuja. Buhari was there yet, he didn’t attend.
Buhari has gone to London without seeing him.
And I’m told that Buhari has refused to look at the names Tinubu sent for ministerial list.

The rest of the South told him. This is not new. Awolowo was used and dumped and jailed. Anioloa was used by the North, dumped, jailed and Killed. Tinubu will be dumped. He has no use for the Hausa/Fulanis.

If we profile all the comments so far, we can categorise them as follows:

1. Those, like this one l am quoting, written by some jealous, uncouth and ill-trained Nnyamirin miscreants.
The "Anger and Hate" in such comments can be sniffed from all the way from Biafra.

2. Those who dont like Tinubu as a Presidential candidate for genuine reasons and would state their reasons clearly without any bile. I fall into that category

3. Those who are "Tinubu-fans" who will support anything he does or says, irrespective of what anyone thinks. For such people, Tinubu is an enigma

IMO, l think Tinubu has passed that stage of putting himself up for "National", Presidential elections.
His "cult" personality outside the South West is divisive enough to make such aspirations nearly impossible (nothing is impossible in politics) and he would be best served, if he supports a Yoruba candidate who is sound academically, wise, has no "baggage of financial and academic corruption" hanging around his neck, is respected across board and popular, like the current V.P Yemi Osinbajo (whom l think is eminently qualified to become our next President) .

If Asiwaju decides to contest (itis within his rights to do so), thereby usurping the ticket of the APC and South West in 2023 (which l think he will clinch the party ticket, if he decide to),
his chances with the South East is Zilch,
his chances within the North is not gurranteed
though he will carry the South West because that is his base.
In the final analysis, his party the APC will likely lose the election to a rival party, if that party is smart enough not to present another "crippled baggage" like Atiku.

In the South West, Tinubu is highly respected and loved for his sagacity, political strategisation and wit but he himself must not dance to the tune and drumbeats of "carry-on, baba'sope, praise singers" who will push him and edge him-on, knowing fully well that he wont win.

I wont use this forum to discuss the failings of Asiwaju Tinubu because it wont be proper (hitting a man when his downfall is being discussed, that wont be ethical and moral) but there are "issues" around him that makes a Presidential ambition not feasible.

Asiwaju should pitch his tent behind Yoruba sons who have proved their worth in the Political arena, like Fashola and most especially, the current V. P Yemi Osinbajo. To do otherwise is to undermine the chances of the South West producing the next President in 2023
I am 100% sure that the North will rally behind a person like Osinbajo (he has proved he is smart, that he is not power-hungry and trustworthy, when Buhari was amiss due to illness).
I am also sure that the South West will support a candidate of Osinbajo 101%. So, with the support of thsoe two regions, he is good to go and will win.
Well, a very minuscle, educated and detribalised Igbos will suport him if they are APC members but seriously, he should not expect any vote from that atrea as their hatred and contempt for "Afonjas" has never been hidden and knows no-bound.

But that also brings into the question, the possibility of an Igbo person ever becoming a President of Nigeria, with the current "political setup and emotional mindset" of the people of the Sotuh East!
The North will definitely (and l can wager on this), not support an igbo President, for historical reasons, for their treatment and abuses on Buhari and Notherners in general, for their penchant to want to divide the country and secede and lack of trust.

The South South will likely give their support though it wont be 100% as some of them are aware of what happened during the Biafra occupation of the South South (for example how Ikwere streets were renamed with Igbo names, right there in Ikwere kingdom!) and like most of them have said, they dont want to be tarred with the igbo brush because they are not Igbos and those share their rabid sentiments about other Nigerians.

The South West, though ususally "logical and rational" in their political decision-making, will likely not support an Igbo Presidency, if it comes in confrontation with a Yoruba candidate. The SW are aware of how the Igbos feel towards them and would likely not waver in "serving them the same Amala, using the same type of spoon".

Putting all the above into perspective, it is obvious that an Igbo candidate on the paltform of any party is dead on arrival, within the present atmosphere.
but there is a strategy the igbos can (and will likely) use:

Like the PDP, they can work on the GREED of APC some members from the NORTH who, for personal ambition within the frame of the likes of Saraki in 2015, put their votes behind such person by promising such person say the Vice Presidency with an Igbo President.
Such "Saraki-like" Northerner can pull some votes from the North for the igbo Presidency while the whole S.East gives its block vote to the igbo presidential candidate, in addition to the majority of the votes from the South -South..

The danger with such permutation is that it does not have 'the numbers' to pull an outright win for any Igbo candidacy.
Bottom-line: An Igbo Presidency will always need the votes of either the North or the South West, for it to fly and if history teaches us anything, it is easier for the South West to change its mind and vote for an igbo candidate (like they did in 2011 whne they voted massively for and to elect Goodluck Jonathan), than for the North to vote an igbo candidate.
Unfortunately, the Igbos have so alienated themselves from the A"fonjas" that, it will take a radical miracle for that which happened in 2011, to happen again ...because the payback from the Jonathan administration was in heaps of betrayal. Once beaten, twice shy, they say.

Caveat: these are just my personal opinion, which l am entitled to and every other person should state their own contrary opinion so we can evaluate it....nothing personal.
I agree with some things you wrote but you also made some fallacious statements.
1)Tinubu is not loved by most Yoruba people, that's one big fat lie, he has his fans sure but alot see him as corrupt, dirty and overbearing.
2)Tinubu can not influence Yoruba voters, past elections including the last one has shown that.
3) Osinbajo will get support but not 101% in SW as you claimed, even if PDP present a northerner,PDP will comfortably get more than 40% percent of the votes in SW, yorubas don't do he is our son politics....at worst PDP will get what Jonathan got in SW in 2015..which is still even very impressive..
and the Tinubu factor will even affect Osinbajo negatively among a lot of Yoruba voters.
any sw presidency based on past sw elections history show it need a strong support of the north.

Chei.
