Pls is this a Nollywood movie or a reality because its only on Nollywood you can see father or man that used disbolic power to killed his brother, uncle or kids of his late brither because of Land and later when the god finally spoken(because Nollywood god don't speak quick till the entire generation died) and revenge now come and the evil doer fall on the ground crying oh forgive meeee.

The story of this family in question is a bit strange if this is a reality and not a movie. How can he proof his dad is the one responsible for the death of his mum? Or possibly the deceased must be one of those wicked village father who are *Lucifer commander wicked to the core* and his kids knows who their father is.

But law don't permit taken justice yourself more so this might become a generational curse in the family, the guy really messed up big time.

The day is still young my son, advice yourself before the sun comes out.

Not every news that gets watched on nairaland deserve to be commented upon by users of this site...
Kids shouldn't dabble into matters meant for elders. Likewise, elders shouldn't dabble into matters meant for gods.

You gave an excellent advice. Youths must be careful how they comment on issues in this forum. Apostle Paul cautioned that "All things are lawful, but not all things are helpful".
If you are not born into a polygamous family, for example, you do not have the experience or knowledge of what happens in polygamous homes and, therefore, cannot comment on issues bordering on polygamy. It is only those who are born in polygamous homes that knows the difficulties or challenges that exists in polygamous homes and are qualified to make comments or give advice. Matters on polygamy is not for everybody to comment. But Nairaland youths will just talk on everything rightly or wrongly. That's too bad.

Hmmm Igbo's, una no dey tire? In the East fathers are Killing Children, Children are killing their parents. They are competing in killing their immidiate Family members. All this is because, they want to make quick money.

As It is now, the East is the unsafest place to leave in Nigeria.

onyiauke?? Sounds familiar...
@op, are u sure it's Nando? Should be Uke as the name implies
Imagine still dishing out orders to an older woman and a supposed grandmother, so another woman should bathe and cook for her daughter when she's still hale and strong
Re: Man Kills Father In Anambra, Sets Corpse On Fire by Greatzeus(m): 11:06am On Apr 29, 2019
Your own father, even if he's Truly responsible for your mother's death, you shouldn't take his life like this. You should have reported to the police and provide evidence.
Now your children will see you as a man who killed his father, their grandfather.

This is how generational curses usually starts, the dad killed mom diabolically, their son retaliated by killing his dad maybe after the first blow from the son to the father he pronounced a curse. Years later something will happen that will also make his own son kill him, the curse goes on and on thereby causing suffering to innocents generation
Black man superstition.

Could be that the daughter has not

never pay her bride price....

...Well, she paid for her stubbornness.
Just tell us your society values money than life and relationships.
How can this thought of not paying bride price come to your mind as a likely cause?

How much is a bride price compared to a wife and a life?

"She paid for her stubbornness" you claim, abi?
How I wish that boy adds you to his father burnt sacrifice!

Once you accept Jesus Christ as you Lord and saviour , you are saved.. Generational curse won't affect you too..
Old things are pass away.

Too shook to make meaningful Comment. Why deny a woman the joy of omugwo na. Its a very big thing to do o. This silly attitude where people in power just impose their will on those under them is not a good thing.
A woman's love for her children will override any death threat.

Now to the topic....the son took a life, he should do the time. He can not prove that the old man killed his mother. Even if he can, justice is not his to serve.
Why deny a woman the joy of Omugwo? Because the man may have had a prophetic reason that she would not return alive but she stubbornly went and the prophecy was fulfilled. Now the foolish woman's death has also led to a wise man's death through a violent son who is more foolish than his mother. Nando people una well done!

News especially when it has to do with murder of a man by his son spreads like wildfire in Igbo land because it is a taboo.

Secondly, no major online new tabloid like punch, vanguard, the sun or even premium times wey dey lie sometimes carried the story. It's now one useless "Unclesuru" blog...

The story reeks of falsehood! Anyways, let the blogger get his 10mins fame which will still expire one day.

That was how "newseveryhour" was disturbing us with their fake news everyday for traffic 2 years ago but where are they today?
Re: Man Kills Father In Anambra, Sets Corpse On Fire by focus7: 12:38pm On Apr 29, 2019
Another Igbo in the act.

If they are not sleeping with their mothers, they are beating them to stupor, if they are not killing their father they are slapping their father in the public or waking him up with karate kick.

A practice that usually happens in the midst of literate people as they claimed. What a pity?

I'm not supporting the man if he is the one that killed his wife.
But as for stopping her to go; what if the man is not healthy and needed her constant attention?

Doesn't look like that was the case. No where did the article say he was on his sickbed.

No where did it say he was worried about her safety. What the article said was he did not want her to go and if she insists on going she shall die! it was more a threat than a concern.
