Adaibeku:Oba ovaremhen, who heard about that one, who knows him? What did he achieved. He fought white, is that an achievement? So he didn't run , but I know someone that ran in skirt in the middle of the night. You sound so dumb, fighting without achieving anything, is that one a fight. Even madam ransome kuti(fela's mother) fought against colonial masters and achieved her aim by stopping them from collecting tax on women when she led Egba women against the British. Today, can you point out any achievement of your so called ovierem or jaja or whatever. We are talking achievement, this one is talking of fight. I don't know who get brain pass between you and baby mosquito. 5 Likes |

BaaleOko: Thank you for giving sense to the senseless slowpoke. They overhype awolowo who was an ex-convict,the same man Akintola then MKO ridiculed and a coward criminal who confisticated most lands around Ikeja,Ilupeju and Co. 1 Like |

Westbestside: Oba Ovoranmen fought a good fight and had to surrender because of his people. The Aba women riot we know but Egba riot Where were your men when women led a riot(under the bed as usual) ... Not war but riot. Ovoranmen was summoned to Sapele but refused and fought for what he believed but Ooni was summoned and he trekked from Ife to Lagos and was made to kneel before a young white man. When Kings are mentioned who fought the British in Africa, Oba Ovoranmen is mentioned, name one of your former baales who later became king that tried it,only one Ijebu king tried but surrendered before the battle started. Oh talking about Fela's mother I learnt she chased away one Alake who was made a king in 1864. Tribe of weak Kings, Moremi rescued one from been beaten silly by some local farmers who dressed as masquerades or was it the one Madam Tinubu chased away too. You guys got no king worthy of emulation but bunch of cowards. Awolowo was nothing but a cultist who was cursed by Oba Akenzua that he will never rule anywhere than the Yoruba speaking people and his lineage will disappear like ashes. Don't add more curse to your own lineage. Akase ogho Oba gia vein! 2 Likes |

Born2Breed:It's really annoying, the same Awo they keep extolling to high heavens like some divine being was the same man whose political war with Akintola caused the infamous *we tie* crisis in the West that saw political opponents and factions as well as innocent people been doused with fuel and burned alive, among other killings. If the military coup didn't happen just in time, the West would have been reduced to rubbles of war and devastation at the time. 1 Like |

BaaleOko: These guys are so myopic. They know nothing else aside their immediate environment, their history knowledge is so deficient that one wonders if they are even above 18yrs. If only they know the criminal activities of the man some of them revered they will hide their faces in shame. This man was ready to destroy all the western region achieved just for personal political gains. If Akintola was not murdered by those silly coupist we all know Gowon would have locked him up for life. |

BaaleOko:that's a myth. are u Yoruba? awolowo is despised by several yorubas,he is not deeply loved as u claim. most of awolowo adversaries were even yorubas. its only on paper you read such nonsense of how awolowo is loved by us. the way Tinubu is seen is the way awolowo is also seen..both have fans here and there and that's it. |

Edos, Deltans and Yorubas have very similar cultures. You are ibo. All these outrageous claims but anyway I agree From history deltans are benins and edos.... Deltans from asaba to sapele are all descendants from the great oba and Benin empire.... Edos are yorubas. and much of Benin are yorubas....they inter marry at ease...and will So deductively... deltans are edos and edos are yorubas.....simply meaning that all are edos/yorubas... So chukwuma nzeogwu, ngozi okonjo iweala, achuzia, okowa, nwoko, otuaro, are. All yorubas... History Don liee and is good to revisit history at all times. |

Born2Breed:Useless and unintelligent emotional ranting. Who is oba ovwerem or whatever. He fought, fought with who? What did he achieved with his useless fight. A useless king that was chased away from his kingdom, is that one oba. Mtcheww, we are talking of great achievement of someone that benefit his own people, this one even is busy talking of useless Oba with no achievement. Oba ovwerem my foot. Who mentioned his name in Africa, who knows him in Africa. We all know the great kings that fought against colonial master in Africa, never came across any ovwerem. Ovwerem ko, okberem ni. Talking of one useless king cursing awolowo, a man that achieved more than his ancestor. Did the useless oba rule pass his bini enclave? Who knows him outside his enclave, who knows him today. Of not you that you are talking jargons about him, do I know his existence. Who talks about him today. Mtchewww. H. He even said he cursed awoo, who his cursed eep. Awoo was the leader of his people then. Where is the mumu king today, where are his lineage.? Tell me, where are his lineage. Awoo's lineage that the useless king cursed in his bedroom is still ruling his unknown lineage today. Awoo's lineage is wife to vp of the nation. Many awoo's lineage are doing great and one useless king is claiming to curse him. Just like many of you are cursing buhari in your room. Trash. 2 Likes 1 Share |

So all your lies against him that did not work no do you, you now look for ways to lie another one. Why not try another tactic. Awoo saved his people from death, we know a leader that sacrificed his people for his own gain. But you mention enahoro, oya bring his achievements and let see. Enahoro ko, enaporo ni. 2 Likes |
