Seniors, please which comes first? R10 completeness check or MEP/BIL? If for instance, I did not submit the correct police certiificate, will I be rejected early on or months after MEP/BIL?

Good Afternoon my people,

Please I need help. I just received my ECA report from WES

somewhere was written, "the names on one or more of the credentials submitted for evaluation differ from the name above"

I looked carefully, only to see that on my NECO evaluation, my name Progress was spelt as Profress. Meanwhile I dont have my name spelt as such on any of my documents

Thought everything is fine in my bachelor's degree

Please what do you advice? What can be done? Is it something to worry about.

Although I still hope to evaluate my Msc later in the year

From what I read on various platforms, R10 completeness check happens around the same time with MEP/BIL. The fact that people that get rejection due to R10 completeness check get it around the time they are expecting MEP/BIL corroborates this.

Hello fam, it's PPR!!!

The thread is truly a goldmine, I just laid low like that US submarine that was in Naija for months undetected grin I had gotten all the documents I needed to submit post ITA and was just waiting for October to get my complete points for 3yrs work experience and by October 1st 2018, while Naija was celebrating their independence from Britain with nothing to show for it, me and my household were celebrating the extra 25points that CIC gifted me for Independence day anniversary. Truly, it was my own independence day from Niaja!

Ewo!! Ndia emee m ife finally!!! I started begging God for mercy.

In this month (April ) the group has seen the highest number of PPR'S more than any other month and so while I was anxiously counting down to the 30days deadline before a decision is taken on my application, and at exactly 8th April, the day my application clocked 6months, hubby got a response from one of the Calgary MP's he follws onTwitter and whom he had contacted in March about helping us make enquiries on our application. He sent a consent forms to my hubby asking us to fill it and send it back to him. For me, I was very reluctant because we had contacted Uncle Ralph in February and he told us that eligibility, criminality and security had not started.

Village people don finally make sure say they use my application paper take sell corn! I was livid! I talked to a close friend turned sister in the group and she told me to ignore Uncle Ralph's message and that I should rather believe the MP'S own, since he doesn't attend to volumes unlike Ralph who gets to give updates to a lot of people. For my sanity, I had to go with her submission, I stan you Kory.

IT HAS ENDED IN PRAISE FOR ME!

NOT ALL APPLICATIONS SENT TO AVO ARE COMPLEX.

Apologies for the long post, that was never intentional, I just couldn't stop writing kiss

It’s PPR !!!! Still looks a dream to me. I have been a voracious reader of this thread and won’t be exaggerating when I say I probably won’t have gotten PPR without the wealth of knowledge obtained here. Below is my timeline.

This thread has given hope to a lot of people hope, myself included with the wealth of information contained therein, as I would never have known about IQAS. May God bless everyone who have in one way or the other contributed to this thread.
For those still waiting for PPR, just hold on it will surely come.
May good IELTS results, ITA, PPR, COPR fall on all who are expectant
It shall surely end in praise

Hello my beautiful E-fam,

(ECA SUCCESS STORY)

Its not PPR OOO but am happy I've crossed this hurdle as it was not an easy one for me so i want to share with you guyz. Am very happy and am wondering how it ll feel when PPR comes...lolsss

I started my journey to WES in October, 2018. I evaluated my WAEC, B.SC and M.SC.

I sent all my documents via hellofax to WES.

WAEC: I and hubby personally went to Yaba to process WAEC transcript. Apart from the fee paid(cant remember) for the processing , we were asked to pay 10k for courier. But we decided to collabo with another applicant (na sharp tinz here oo, no dulling) and used the same big envelope for sending so we shared the courier fee and paid like 5k. Took three weeks to complete the process. My uncle was in Nija in December so we just bought WAEC scratch card, enveloped it, addressed it to WES with our reference number and gave to him. He sent it via fedex from U.S to WES. Got there in two days.

B.sc: This was a smooth ride because hubby works in LASU and I graduated from Lagos state University. He just followed up with transcript and verification. The process (transcript &verification) was completed within three weeks.

M.sc:
This was the one that took soo much time, and energy to get processed. The story here long no be small but I will shorten it. I did my Masters in UNILAG. Its supposedly called the University of first choice...I no see how that one take be first choice ooo. Sending transcript to WES was wahalah. It took UNILAG two months to send transcript to WES. I was furious, I visited UNILAG like four times, even sent several mails to them. I eventually got a guys contact in records from someone in this thread. God bless this e-fam. That was when the transcript was sent eventually. Then verification wahalah started from January till March. WES sent mail two times to UNILAG. Even the contact I had said they did not receive any mail from WES. Then I sent a stinker mail to UNILAG. Finally, they replied WES. The process (transcript & verification) was completed in 18weeks. The wait was exhausting but because I was still on IELTS, I just calmed down.

ECA Report: Got an update on the 18th of March from WES that they received my documents and they are reviewing it.

Then got another update on the 8th of April that they are reviewing my report and it will be completed by 30th of April.
Just got my report today and it states that Masters is equivalent to Canadian Masters degree.

Next stop: Waiting for IELTS result. But am diving into the pool with my previous IELTS result of LRWS (7.5, 7, 7, 7.5). Will still share my success story here as well.

ADVISE: WES is still the fastest evaluation body, however, if your school is like UNILAG and you want to go ahead with WES, just be ready to chill and be eating puffpuff and sipping zobo..lolss.. All the same, glory be to God. It will end in praise.

Congratulations!!! So happy for you.

I didn't know cancelled applications can be appealed for reopening through raising a CSE without paying a lawyer. You even applied for withdrawal of second application, nice!!! This is really helpful for any whose application gets rejected early on and rectifies it. Thank you.

Normally I would have given you 3 for giving us only PPR timetable, but for this novel information, take 4.2/10

All the best in Canada.

It's PPR Guys....As usual, long post alert!

My timeline is below ..

Decision to travel:

In 2017, A good friend of mine couldn’t attend my wedding and He promised me he will make it up to me by giving me the best wedding gift ever. As usual, I was just like…story!
He then went on to tell me about the whole express entry thing and said to me that if I just start this process by the time I have my PPR I will acknowledge that this information surpasses all the gifts I will remember getting at my wedding. Lo and behold….He was right!

Thread…I have been a silent reader from the beginningbut I have gained much information from the folks here. Thank you all.

One and same person affidavit would help. WES made the same comment on my evaluation report because I had a different surname. On a closer look at my credentials, I discovered that my first and middle names were spelled differently on my birth certificate. I did one and same person affidavit to rectify all the errors.

Congratulations on your PPR!! Information is indeed power, see your mistakes but great that you corrected them asap and now it has ended in praise for you and your family.

Thank you for your script. You score 7.2/10

Can you please clarify your POF section for us? You mean you submitted only bank statement and LOE as proof without any official bank letter as specified by CIC and still got PPR, amazing!

I slept well knowing that I had fulfilled all righteousness. @johnnybravo1990, there is really no harm in trying. Kindly do the needful

On another note, I was refunded the sum of N1665.30(by CIC) about a week after my application was submitted. Other than a credit alert, no explanation was given. Has anyone experienced this? Could there be an explanation for this?

Another thing is I submitted a generic letter of introduction from my bank, a certificate of treasury bills and a letter of non-indebtedness from my bank. I didn't submit any statement of account. Should I be worried?

Can someone also assist in adding me to the February ITA group

Once again, please you guys should help a confused me

For an activity driven dude like me, I'm just getting impatient with IQAS. I hate it that I can't seem to do anything. Its 81 days since my documents arrived there and no response. Although current trends suggests that I'll be attended to in the next 20/30 days, I'm just not having all of that. Plus having my IELTS in the bag is making it worse.

I called them yesterday and I was attended to by an apology of a customer care agent. I immediately moved to twitter to send the Government of Alberta (my future Government) a DM. I also sent IQAS mails.

My mind is already putting together a back up plan with WES, I'm thinking of going the 2 or more certificate way, my LLB and Law School but the money no be here, plus I'll lose points (454 to 447)which means soon-to-be Mrs A would have to write IELTS (another 68k).

I'm not even as agitated about my wedding that cojes up in 16 days time, as I am about IQAS. This Canada just has to be worth it. The city of Calgary is blessed for my sake! The legal services industry is blessed for me!

That we shall succeed is as sure as God reigns!

#AfternoonRant.

Hello good people, I just started my immigration process to Canada. I sincerely thank the faithful people in this forum for their kind contribution. I am very grateful for the insights from this platform.

I am just at the process of applying for WES and about to prepare for IELTS. Any offer of advice from good people on how to hasten the process because by August I will be a year older which should be a moment of joy but it won't be a moment of joy for calculating CRS score.

I have both BSc and MSc in communication at UNILAG. then on what occasions does WES require verification from the university.
My spouse would not be evaluating his result but doing ielts. Then good people sincerely i dont have POF o. please how can I resolve this before my days start counting so as to know how to prepare before the time comes.

Thank you very much people for your sincere answers. Anticipating your kind response.

I am one of those people that believe so much in Nigeria. Never wanted to leave Nigeria for any western country. Anyway, My Canada journey started in September 2017, when my company first gave indication about dropping people and seeing that the unemployment rate is sky rocketing. When I finished school in 2008,i used to see several job adverts though highly competitive. Nowadays, one needs to fast and pray before a company will advertise, especially for graduate roles. I also don't want my kids to struggle in this country, hence my Canada dream.

IELTS: -
1st attempt - December 4th 2017 LRSW - 8, 8.5, 6.5, 6.5.

2nd attempt - July 2018
LRSW - 8, 7.5, 7, 6.5

3rd attempt - Sept 2018
LRSW - 9, 8.5, 7, 7

Meanwhile, I didn't know that it was possible to remark. I had not joined NL. People say information is power. My people perish because of lack of knowledge.

NOC CHANGE

Got ITA 15th October 2018. Pre-ITA I chose my NOC based on my educational qualifications.(Chemical Engineering) Still a JJC.

But I'm currently working as a mechanical engineer. After I got my reference letter, I decided to change my NOC to mechanical engineering. I got some useful information online, that it's possible to change NOC post ITA.

Anyway, I supported my decision with a detailed letter of explanation.

It was just the holy spirit leading me, I was restless within my spirit until I changed the NOC.

PROOF OF FUNDS

I used only statement of account.
Wrote LOE for a large sum of money deposited into my account.
The money came from my other investment, so I attached the MoU for my investment.
I highlighted in yellow when the initial fund entered my account and when I transferred the cash to the company.

WORK EXPERIENCE

My wonderful manager prepared my reference letter in CIC format. He was a bit disappointed that I want to leave the company.
I attached pay slips for some months in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE.

I attached both my church wedding certificate and court wedding certificate. However, I noticed that CIC recorded my court wedding date as the day of marriage. Even though, I did my church wedding first.
