While many characters were killed during Sunday's episode of "Game of Thrones," the demise of the Night King at the hand of Arya Stark, and the disintegration of his army of wights and White Walkers, were likely the only ones met with thunderous cheers from fans. While the Night King may be dead after the Battle of Winterfell, the actor who played him is still very much alive. The Night King has been played by 48-year-old actor and stunt man Vladimír Furdík since season six of the show, taking over for actor Richard Brake, reports Entertainment Weekly (EW). The Slovakian performer may have blue eyes, but the rest of his look is all prosthetics, makeup and television magic. Men, that battle scene of episode 3 was off the hook. I started having pity on the living because the dead was just killing them anyhow. There was no way they could have overcome the Night King and his army. If not for suspension of belief because everything is allowed in movies, there's just no way Arya Stark could have sneaked up on the Night king just like that. Still team Night King always. 4 Likes |

I agree with you. The recent episode of season 8 was a far cry from what would be obtainable in reality. I mean considering the countless numbers of the undead,the incredible speed at which they attack,the fact that they attack in groups and mostly importantly the fact that the Nightking was replenishing their numbers by resurrecting more of the dead,that could easily have overran winterfell with little resistance. |

YoungBlackRico:Have you watched from the beginning of season 1? If you did, you will know that the reason they went through all the trouble of looking for and constructing weapons from dragon stone aka obsidian is because it can actually kill whitewalkers aside from valyrian steel. Hence all the whitewalkers that were killed could not be raised again. Only the 'freshly' killed people can be and were actually raised just that one time. You guys need to use your heads when watching movies. |
