that's what I told someone, you people would keep supporting Barca's opponents until Messi lifts this UCL trophy.

Face it, Liverpool was tactically defeated. Allowing Liverpool hold the ball was part of the plan. Their power lies in counter attacks. Let them have possession and they wouldn't know what to do with it.

You forgot that Dembele missed a sitter too. Even Vidal had a great chance to score.
"Allowing Liverpool hold the ball was part of the plan"
Very correct...
The plan was implemented during second half.
I wish they score before half time because Barca lost concentration and strategy in the first half.

Foolish opinion. It is actually Barcelona that is overhyped without messi. Take away messi what you have is alaves.

Liverpool have lost just one league match this season, they have more points in their league than Barcelona have at la liga. They haven't lost at home in 2 years....

Yesterday, the match was 50:50...Liverpool had more possession, more shots more than Barcelona...Messi was the difference. If messi was injured or salah and mane buried their chances, would you be typing this nonsense today?

Seun should do something so that nairalanders can be able to delete foolish threads by themselves.
Don't Mind That Guy. Liverpool Was Unlucky Yesterday. When The Table Turns At Anfield, I Will See His Next Post.

Remove sentiments. Liverpool are good. A team that beat Bayern 1:3 at Allianz arena can't be overhyped. I'm a Man u fan.
It's clear the OP is a Barca fan. It's only Ronaldo that scores tap-ins, Messi doesn't. The one he scored yesterday is a world class rebound, not a tap in, abi?
Apart from that free kick there was nothing exceptional about Yesterday's game. If Salah and Mane buried their chances, you won't be here typing trash.
Ajax to win UCL. Save this comment.
People like you won't be typing trash if Suarez,Vida and Dembele were clinical in front of goal.

It cannot be 50/50 if Barcelona scored 3 and Liverpool scored nothing no matter how good they played. Football is about results.

Barcelona has Messi, Liverpool has Salah, Mané, etc. There is no disadvantaged team. They are both at the Champions League semi finals. That already says a lot

The game was balanced , barca took their chances and Liverpool didn't. Except messi's free kick nothing was special about barca game yesterday to me

The special thing there was that Barcelona scored 3 and Liverpool didn't score. Isn't that special enough?

you sound very stupid bashing your own logic that I used on you.

You don't think Giroud is better than Ronaldo even when he has won the world cup that Ronaldo hasn't even played in the final. Yet you think Ronaldo is better than Messi because his team won a Euro tournament that Messi does not even play in?

Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you have sense.

look at u,the fact is that they both won it 5 times, arrangements doesn't matter here, besides after Kaka won it in 2007, Ronaldo won it first before Messi,so stop arguing baselessly.

Even if Ronaldo and any other footballer plays football after life, There are two things Messi can do that no footballer can never do and they are:

1. No player can ever play football with EASE the way Messi does

2. No footballer can ever win the Ballon d'or 4 times consecutively like Messi Did.

I'll mention players who played football with ease, zidane,Figo, xavi, iniesta and a host of others, between both of them who first tasted the award?

stop arguing with sentiment bro

just 2? Lol. Messi might just win the Copa America this year and this your post would then look stupid.

Ronaldo that cannot even outscore a 36 year old Fabio Quagliarella in Serie A. It took him 100+ games more than Messi to score 600 goals, despite the fact that Messi is both playmaker and goalscorer while Ronaldo is just a goal scorer.

Anyway, I can count many things that Messi has done that Ronaldo would never get. Here are just a few examples.

1) Scoring up to 91 goals in a calendar year.
2) Winning the treble twice (would be a treble of trebles at the end of this season).
3) Winning the golden ball in a world cup.
4) Playing in the final of a world cup.
5) Winning best player award more than once in 9 seasons of La Liga (Messi won 7/9, Ronaldo 1/9).

Face it, they aren't on the same level. It's has been media scam all along.

ur first sentence disqualifies ur argument already,u said he might....who cares? let him achieve with his national team first before u come here to compare....
others listed are what any player can do. who

between them who first tasted world best player award? and who first score 600 goals?
awon sentimental Messi supporters

You made a little sense in your number 1 point (Still beg to differ), but it all went south from there... I am a neutral so I have no problems being objective, unlike you Barca fans...

Liverpool is not overrated, except we both watched different games last night... They only lacked the "Firmino Factor". Had he been there in his full form, they would have been up by at least 2 goals before that overrated biter's tap in.

Klopp is a very good coach, but falls short in big game tactics (Mourinho, Ancelloti, and Hiddink are way ahead). Valverde set up a tiki taka Barca to lean back, absorb pressure, and ruthlessly counter-attack which took Klopp by surprise.

On the comparison of Leagues... You need to give it a rest, cos you are not making sense at all. Atletico Madrid were embarrassed out by Juventus, does that make Serie A better?...

Finally, the games Barca played without Messi this season, how did they fare? Were they dynamic or exceptional?... Half a season without the wizard, and see them poorer than Real Madrid without Ronaldo.
Oga go sleep and keep your write up jor

Champions league has been in Spain for the paat 5 years
