Foolish opinion. It is actually Barcelona that is overhyped without messi. Take away messi what you have is alaves.

Liverpool have lost just one league match this season, they have more points in their league than Barcelona have at la liga. They haven't lost at home in 2 years....

Yesterday, the match was 50:50...Liverpool had more possession, more shots more than Barcelona...Messi was the difference. If messi was injured or salah and mane buried their chances, would you be typing this nonsense today?

Seun should do something so that nairalanders can be able to delete foolish threads by themselves.

See how completely foolish you are!

Salah was injured in Real Madrid Vs Liverpool during the champions league final and the game changed the instance he was removed off the pitch.

Omo, no be skills dem take dey convert chances? If Liverpool no fit take their chances then they offered their best and came short.

Stop whining with "IF's.

what a biased reportage...Messi is everything cos r they wanna win a trophy Madrid won three years in a row...OK oooo
recency bias that's the term they call it. At least they get to feel the joy Ronaldo n co gave Madrid fans the past few years. It's been years since they felt that.

Remove sentiments. Liverpool are good. A team that beat Bayern 1:3 at Allianz arena can't be overhyped. I'm a Man u fan.
It's clear the OP is a Barca fan. It's only Ronaldo that scores tap-ins, Messi doesn't. The one he scored yesterday is a world class rebound, not a tap in, abi?
Apart from that free kick there was nothing exceptional about Yesterday's game. If Salah and Mane buried their chances, you won't be here typing trash.
Ajax to win UCL. Save this comment.
If you think Liverpool are bad at burying chances then you should know Ajax are horrible at conversion rate if you've been ff their games. They could create 10 chances & bury just 1. If their creation rate is synonymous to their conversation rate, I would personally attest to Ajax winning the CL but Barca would edge them out for this reason. This is where Man City is better than Liverpool cos no matter how many chances they miss they would at least have scored one last night.

You made a little sense in your number 1 point (Still beg to differ), but it all went south from there... I am a neutral so I have no problems being objective, unlike you Barca fans...

Liverpool is not overrated, except we both watched different games last night... They only lacked the "Firmino Factor". Had he been there in his full form, they would have been up by at least 2 goals before that overrated biter's tap in.

Klopp is a very good coach, but falls short in big game tactics (Mourinho, Ancelloti, and Hiddink are way ahead). Valverde set up a tiki taka Barca to lean back, absorb pressure, and ruthlessly counter-attack which took Klopp by surprise.

On the comparison of Leagues... You need to give it a rest, cos you are not making sense at all. Atletico Madrid were embarrassed out by Juventus, does that make Serie A better?...

Finally, the games Barca played without Messi this season, how did they fare? Were they dynamic or exceptional?... Half a season without the wizard, and see them poorer than Real Madrid without Ronaldo.

Oga go sleep and keep your write up

lol. Highest goal scorer for which league? Or has Juve highest goal scorer that even Higuain has achieved, become an award for Ronaldo?

Ronaldo has not improved the Juve. They have been winning the league for eight seasons now. In fact they fared better last season.

So is Ronaldo of Juve the same as Ronaldo of Madrid? Ronaldo of Madrid used to be UCL highest goal scorer in the past seasons and reach the finals.

Messi has two things C. Ronaldo doesn’t have and can never have till he retires...

1. Olympic Gold medal (2008)
2. Fifa U-20 World Cup (2005)

Until he achieves these 2 things too, I can never regard him as the GOAT where Messi is.

all of u shouting Rinaldo Portugal won d Europe cup know nothing,d cup is ment for a selected few just like d Africa cup,so it is not an international cup, when u say Intl ,it has to cover all,and only d world cup and Olympic covers all, will u consider Nigeria or Odion ighalo great cuz they won d africa cup of nations,,,,no,d cup of nations ,Europa cup,Asia cup, copa america are the same, they are games played locally within a particular location,so it is not Intl,Rinaldo should try to win an intr trophy even if it's a bronze before I can rate him same as messi,or go back to d u 23 and try to win d Olympics then we can talk, after d world cup ,its d Olympics, just like in athletics after the IAAF its d Olympics, simple ,,,grow up

Having watched the first kegs of the Champions League semi finals, some lessons have been learned. Below are 5 things we learned from the Champions League:

1 Messi Is Everything: From telling Barcelona fans at the Camp Nou to stop whistling Coutinho to putting the referee under control and from scoring magical goals to creating play, Messi is everything as he is a magician, scorer, creator, and leader.

2 Liverpool Are Overhyped: Liverpool are a good team but they are not great. To be a great team, you must win trophies yet Liverpool have no trophies in decades. They constantly get close but they lose all. Their players are overhyped as well. If you have not faced Messi the way Pique and Co have faced Ronaldo, you should be humble.

3 Premiership Is Behind La Liga: There were four Premiership teams in the quarter finals but none will be in the final as Barcelona are poised to eliminate Liverpool and Ajax are to do the same to Tottenham. From Barcelona serving up a masterclass against Manchester United to winning Liverpool by 3 goals to nil, La Liga proves better than the Premiership.

4 Messi To Win Ballon d'Or: It is Messi turn to win the Ballon d'Or this season. And even if he doesn't win the Champions League, he has done enough this season to win it.

5 Barcelona Are Effective: Barcelona are without a loss this season in the Champions League and this proves their effectiveness.

May GOD BLESS YOU
