Vulcanizer Pours Fuel On A Mad Man, Sets Him Ablaze For Sleeping In Front Of His Shop In Asaba, Delta State

A vulcanizer, Mr. Madubugini Bennet has showered a mentally ill man with petrol and set him on fire for sleeping in front of his shop in Asaba, Delta State.

Mr. Madubugini Bennet who set the mad man by name Mr. Augustine has been apprehended by security men and currently in police custody.

The Revive Initiative shared the shocking news on social media and wrote:

The Director of Planning and strategy of Revive Africa Initiative, Comr. Nnamdi Okwusi reported this to us this evening

This incident took place along the okpanam expressway, very close to customs checking point, the suspected mad man by name Mr. Augustine was victimized by one Mr. Madubugini Bennet, as about 9 pm to 10 pm on 30th of April. Mr. Madubugini a vulcanizer poured fuel on him and set him ablaze, base on the fact that he has warned him not to sleep in front of his shop,

The suspect has since been arrested and detained by Okpanam division of Nigerian Police. We will be going to look for the victim tomorrow to take him to the hospital.

We have also alerted the commissioner of Police to put him in the know.
