china is already a world power ...but their level of innovation,research and development is very poor compared to western countries.

America and UK are leading in next technologies( AI,quantum computing,machine learning,AR etc),china is left behind

Just take a look at a project worth commissioning.
The other day, a President in one of the West African country left the seat of power just to go commission uncompleted projects.
And what were the projects? Hospital and BUSES.

This won't work in Nigeria since there can't be constant power supply to lighten up the tunnel

Abeg remove social infrastructure, china sucks in that aspect....
when it comes to economic infrastructure, china is performing well in manufacturing, IT n industrialization....
But the economic service sector is very weak n protective....
Physical infrastructure in China is unrivalled and remains the best by far....
Only dubai and few Scandinavian countries come close....
