Have you tried MESL (Marshall Evaluation Services Limited)? It takes just 3 days. Fast, efficient and effective, a trial will convince you. grin

Kidding. WES is currently the fastest compared to others, na why we dey rush them. It also depends on your field.

djpoepe:
Quick question

Which is the best ECA company?

Everywhere I’m seeing WES but won’t they be over worked since the whole world seems to be using them.

I want a fast and effective ECA service.

It's PPR ladies and gentle men. All thanks to God Almighty.

My journey to cannyland started in 2016, wrote ielts but couldn't get the required scores. So I decided to seek for admission which I got in 2017 but was denied study visa thrice. In the process of applying to schools in US to study my desired course, we got nominated in 2018 by Saskatchewan, this pnp app was almost a year, done in 2017, so it came as a blessing.

I always come to this forum to read and seek for ppr stories, this has always given me hope and made my faith strong.

I pray that everyone who is seeking for ppr will get it.

Love u guys.

It depends solely on your skills. CBT requires that you type fast and correctly. Being able to read and understand on a screen is also an essential skill. You can try answering some test through the two means and decide which works well for you. Also note that there is no auto correct tool on these computers and it will also also not tell you the number of words.
mydeporch:

Thanks but looks like the do only CBT there....am just considering my writing for d CBT... Typing fast...

It means one will get to Lagos for paper based test.right?
Which one is easier my people... CBT or Paper based.
Passport still under processing.... Want to invest time now to prepare well so that when passport land like this...to start english test reg. and ECA...
I keep getting motivated as i am hearing people's PPR...congrats to all who for theirs recently...

TIMELINE

I had my wedding ceremony on the 12th and registry a week after. I informed IRCC 2 days after by raising CSE,I did this a couple of times becasue I didn’t get a reply promptly, they eventually did reply on the 18th of February with an adr for spouse documents.

It was driving me insane literally. I’m not a very patient person in reality but this journey taught me absolute patience and total reliance on God, even though there were times my faith was zero but I’d bounce up and shoot again. This group was immensely helpful in my entire process. Thank you guys!

Good day everyone.

Has anyone processed transcripts for ECA from these schools; university of Lagos, Lagos State polytechnic and federal polytechnic ilaro ogun state.

If yes, can you give me contacts or explain the process for these schools.

Also I wrote a professional exam with the American society for industrial security, I don't know if I can evaluate it.

Congrats wasseynewest, you really enocourage, i have the almight OND AND HND, was thinking is not possible till i read your post. Really need your help on how to go about it. my email below. ivokolois@yahoo.com
wasseynewest:
LONGEST POST ALERT...........PPR GIST PART2 grin

Thanks my "DESTINAMBARI" for the Part1 of our story. Am glad i finally convinced you to come out of that shell.
Boss Ifeoma, if you looking for your number one fan, it's xplorezee i tell youuuuuu! grin

Ok my people, this is the REMIX..........

Decision to travel has been since after my OND days. Actually delayed HND for few years as man had to hustle. This was born out of the advise from one of my lecturers back in 2005 at MAPOLY, that as a prospective Engineer, it's really important one go in search of core practical experience. And today, i thank God i followed the beautiful and life saving advise. More so, I have always learnt from my DAD that a man needs to be self sufficient. The support of the wifey should only be an added point cheesy.
This two reasons really made me work hard to gain experience and at the same time gather some funds.
Fast forward to 2009 while i was contemplating on going for my HND, i actually calculated how much i have been able to save and decided to give YANKEE a try. I contacted some folks i believed could help but they all turned me down one by one.
Without wasting much time, i enrolled for my HND and continued working by the side. After completion of my HND+NYSC in 2012, I decided to reawaken the Yankee dream in me once again. With more links to the Creme de la Creme people, surprisingly, they all turned me down one after another despite having my fund to finance myself o! #WinkedWorld
It was here i forgo the dream and face naija hustling reloaded. With much experience in the bags already, i was changing one job for another in the Engineering/Telecomm Sector, not even the B.sc/M.sc holders could compete with me at interviews. But sincerely, i kept on thinking and reevaluating my OBODOYIBO dream because i saw a lot in the line of duty. Toured all the states in the entire Naija since 2009 but the merciful God has really protected me from some horrible accidents. Talk of Bike, Buses, Luxirous(Ezenwata, Agborfure and co.) etc, the nature of my job is one that exposed me to all this things. Likewise, the struggle for survival never seem to END.
2014 came and this boy decided to get married to Ma'am xplorezee wink.
My Golden Son arrived in 2015 and from the moment I saw him at the hospital, I just knew my boy & family doesn't deserve a life in Naija. The thing wey my wife eye see for labour room na him dey go for front so grin.
Codedly & Calculatively, I began to restrategise again. Found out about YANKEE Visa interview and noticed that we were gonna be qualified with luck on our side. Talk of the conditions such as home ties, savings etc, I have got it all. But one thing lead to another, the urge never materialise.

Fast forward to Feb. 2018, I was strolling on my FB page when I saw the status of my Surest BOSS from my former coy i had worked in 2016. He is "ebho" here on NL with the fastest PPR record ever liveth grin(i believe) The Holy Ghost just shine my eyes onto his DP & I observed that his Profile Picture no be for here. I clicked on his profile and voila, it reads Winnipeg, Manitoba. I buzz him immediately and my boss that never disappoints answered sharperly. I inquire about how he take do am and it was there he told me about Canada Express Entry.
See me see as I almost hit myself say where i dey since, but don't mind me, like have said, i was busy raking in Millions for Companys with peanuts in return as salary. Na so man begin with d mysterious & adventurous journey to Canny LAND

ECA: This was already set since July 2018. We used WES and thankfully, all this WAEC brouhaha hasn't started at the time. Transcripts processing were also easy 'cos being a popular figure Faculty Treasurer(OND) and Faculty President(HND), I was still recognised and had a breeze smiley

Oct.27th '18: Aced IELTS on the 6th attempt. Wifey too wrote 4 times. I would say two or three major factors contributed to this. One was the believe that wifey would be the suitable Pry. Applicant due to her B.sc, hence my refusal to properly read, we were also looking at the PNP route at the time. So, I was just doing it for fun. ECA outcome came in after our 4th attempts and our eyes opened when we saw that with my WES conversion as 2 or more certs, CRS would be dancing between 441-450 with me as the P.A depending on IELTS. Na so i tell Madam say it's time to rest while i take charge. I took it the 5th time after thorough preparation but my overconfidence in "READING(my favourite)" earned me 6.5. I actually finished in 45mins but was just thinking about WRITING instead of make good use of the 15minutes left to go through my answers.
I immediately Reload and Refire in the next test of Oct.27th & had LRSW 8.5,7,7,7. CRS come siddon jejely for 444 grin.

MEDICALS: This was done UPFRONT in Nov.2018 at Q-Life. It was quite smooth as we got to V.I around 5:30am. Fnished well on time around 10:30am and had our PCC on same day with Inspector Moshood.

POF: Was also a breeze, as IELTS between myself & wifey don cost me about 1M+ coupled with some other unprofitable business i had dabbled into; I reached out to my Uncle in the U.S and he gracefully sent me some solid funds with gift deed. Another jolly childhood friend of mine also supported with some substantial amount.

REFERENCE LETTER: Was from my Supervisor on a plain paper, not notarized while i only attached his ID card. 6months payslips and printed Statement of Account. My Employment and Promotion letters were also inclusive while i had 2 NOCs.
COPR passports was at the famous Studio24.

ITA: Dived into the pool with a CRS of 444 in Nov 2018. Na here another hypertension start. Draws that were dancing btw 440 & 442 before we entered pool o, na so CRS shoot to 449 & 445 in two consecutive draws. Omo! See fear!
ITA finally landed gidigba on Dec.19th with CRS cut off 439 for the day. I carry many lucky people for back on this day grin.

AOR: Packaged all IRCC requirements and send am back to them on Dec.27th and got AOR. RPRF was also paid. No dulling at all as all documents don even ready since JUNE(lol).

MEP/BIL: Came in on Feb.7th 2019 and was done on the same day at VFS Lekki. After this, we were becoming restless awaiting PPR.

On Feb26th: My wife has been saying all day that "PPR must show today after another boss of mine in my current company got his PPR days earlier. At around 11:30pm while still busy with my second family(IELTS CLASS), na so the IRCC mail dropped o! Na him I said, "darling it's like he don show o".
We logged into our account with SPEED and unfortunately, it was an ADR(lol). The request was for why there was a difference in my name on my Boys birth certs and that of my Credentials. My people, this ADR na because of WASIU(present in all my official docs.)and ABDUL WASIU(on my Sons birth certificate o). So please, let's be careful.
Na so my wifey sprang the surprise by bringing out our Wedding Invitation of five(5) yrs ago. My God! I fear women that day 'cos i never believed she kept that single copy all along.
Low & behold! My name was written Abdul Wasiu on it and na so we scanned and write fews words join. We made it "back to sender" that same night smiley.
Adebee dear, i thank you once again for your assistance on this night too. We began to wait again, especially as people were saying don't worry, your PPR will land in three days once they have verified the ADR response. Sleepless nights come start. Will finish with my IELTS people around 11pm and still wake up like 3x in between till day break to check for the Golden Mail. No be small thing at all.

March.29th: After vivi844's comment here on NL on d 28th, wifey decided to call IRCC on d 29th and we received yet another shocking news. The lady that answered said our PPR mail has been sent since March7th and we should have received it since then. We told her we received no such mail at all. Me that i have been checking my mail in & out(Spam o, Important o, Thrash o and even inside my phone jacket to see if he dey hide for there) every blessed day since the day we submitted their ADR. She assured us that she will contact the office in charge to issue us another one.
My people, na this particular waiting period come worse pass. In fact he for better if the lady hadn't told us anything like that. I begin to make a list of the people i have told about this to reason if any Village Pelson dey among them grin. Wifey was restless, Me the hubby was sleepless. Na so so checking of Inbox every hour for our Miracle Mail. At some point, i be dey think say whether na my IELTS Students take juju hold the thing say if wasseynewest don get PPR, it's bye-bye to tutorials grin.
We sent IRCC mail, Ralph goodale no carry last and also raised CSE. Two days after, CSE replied and add salt to our injury. Their mail reads we should wait till April 28th and contact them again if we no see anything. Chai! Which kin tin be this Fada Lord!
At this stage, wifey and i have zeroed our mind to the 28th and we were really getting over it.

On April9th: It was around 4:15am when i go "weewee", na him i just said make i check if my phone dey charge as the charger too don contact the IRCC virus and do misbehave at times. I looked at it, saw it's charging and was about to drop it na him i see the google mail alert. Honestly, I wasn't thinking about PPR cos i do wake up to like 5 mails daily. Na so the Holy Spirit told me to check and see the Joy that await my FAMILY. I opened true true only to see the IRCC mail. At that moment, my breath seized for a second for fear of another ADR. Again, the PPR mail wasn't on my mind at all. I summoned the courage and opened the mail. Wawuuuuuu!!! Finally, the Eagle has landed for my domot. I couldn't scream, I was speechless, I just smiled and whispered to the heaven & said "ALHAMDULILAH, God, you finally did this". Went straight up to Madam for room and said, "No shout o. It's like the Mail has entered. She replied asking me to "Say Walahi". I showed the mail to her and the feeling was like that of the very first time i met her at IKOTUN Bus Stop. She smiled at me like it was the very first day she said "Yes" to my toasting........ grin

With Passports already at the VFS office, we have started packing to land "VERY HARD" in CANADA already.

In the end, ONLY GOD MADE IT POSSIBLE.

I use Free Call free to call anyone!
You should try it too! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsphone.messenger.im&referrer=5124165_0

In case we have people who want to call IRCC, I used this app, and it gave me about 60mins of call after installing on android.

Was it done with BC or MOD? If it was done with the latter, u can just send them a mail and they will forward all that is needed for an EOR to you. On this journey, I can only have faith and hope that things work out.

in addition, when planning to use diff NOC, u must be able to get the 2 reference from employer

You shouldn't combine the two experiences under the same NOC, add the NYSC experience separately as another NOC, that way you get the max points for work experience without issues.

Hello All
Thank you for painstakingly explaining the processes involved . Hubby just finally agreed to commence the express entry process yesterday as he was vehemently against it ,However see my profile below
Married ,age -29 hubby-37
Degree - PgCert UK; hubby -MSc Uk
Hubby brother also moving to Canada soon as well as he’s gotten his PR
When I took the CRS -
Me as PA-498; Hubby as PA -450 all of these with the provisos that we get min of 8 in each of the IELTS categories and also with a blood relative with a PR

Now my questions are do I go ahead and submit my degree for ECA without the Nigeria BSC because I didn’t see that category listed in WES website or do I process my Nigeria BSC alongside as well

Also whilst we are expecting some funds by the end of the month, are there other things we should do other than pray and prepare for the IELTS exams

Thanks for ur reply. I am coming across suggestions online asking people to verify b.sc and masters together. One can not claim points for B.sc and masters at the same time, it has to be one of the highest qualification.right?
Is this why it is advised to use only Masters...
No need to include secondary school result if i am evaluating Masters degree only because it was earned abroad.?

Another concern...calcilated based on hubby as PA i got 440 but when i calculated with mine as PA, i got 456. due to age diff. and qualification.he has done his assessment with WES before..it was CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Diploma (two years) and diploma (three years) and postgraduate certificate (one year)..
What other thing can boost up his point....i just feel he has more work experience than me...5yrs..
Thanks olaneeran for ur reply.thanks to all who give up their time to reply us...

Use just your MBA for your ECA so when you're simulating your CRS, select masters degree. Also as someone else as advised, use 8777 for LRWS for your IELTS.
All the best

With IQAS patience is key o. Evaluation with them takes about 5.5/6 months but your LLB will be evaluated as the equivalent of a Masters. So, if you're willing to wait, you can try them. If not, two or more certificates (LLB & BL) with WES may just be your best bet but first do the permutation on the CRS calculator first, 7 points is the difference between 2 or more certificate and Masters.

Hello people,

Who can help me with IQAS process flow?
My transcript has been delivered to them by my school since 27th February yet no communication.

What to do?

Secondly,
I'm seriously considering WES.

Will WES accept if I only post a copy of my GCE certificate and a Scratch card to them?
Trying to avoid the WAEC office wahala.

Good Morning... Actually the default mode of UNN itranscript is hard copy, infact it is stated there on their website that they offer no soft copy service, however, probably as an exception or whatever, they sent mine to ICES as soft copy, and ices acknowledged receipt accordingly. It just has to be sent thru UNN email address to the usual ices email address, it's really no biggie, I suggest you try same. Note that transcript is faster with UNN if you had similar result processed earlier, otherwise, I suggest you make an appearance at the campus to do yours in person or thru proxy.

Ugo, thanks! Your replies are quite helpful, and have cleared my fears. I will be submitting my application to ICES on Monday, as they don't work on weekends. I already got a reference number. I am waiting for the application to be completed, before completing the UNN itranscript. I wanted to upload a screen shot from the itranscript portal, but it cannot. In this link you'll see their default mode. https://alumni.unn.edu.ng/itranscript

You can only claim points for your highest degree only when it is either MSC, MBA or PHD.
WAEC is required if your degree is from a Nigerian school.
How many years of work experience do you have? Try calculating your CRS using your own work experience as the PA.
To boost your husband's CRS, he can consider learning French.

Also whilst we are expecting some funds by the end of the month, are there other things we should do other than pray and prepare for the IELTS exams
I'm not entirely sure but I think you'll need to include your Bsc for your ECA since what you have is not an MSC, so you claim points for two or more certificate.
You can start processing your transcripts and start trying get reference letter (s) from your place (s) of work.
