I can see that some countries are making efforts to build on what they have but ours is to destroy the little we have. Nigeria is fast moving towards looking like Afghanistan.

How are they learners? Machine, neural,deep learning or whatever,are all aspects of AI. You are just using terms and saying, (no offence meant) nothing. What specifically can one do that the other cannot do? That is what I expect to see. If you can't state those, let's lay the discuss to rest.

I know that very well....but I was trying to be specific......most people just use AI generally but forgot that only few companies like Google, Amazon and Microsoft are specialist in deep learning...china might be good in AI but it's deep learning,big data and machine learning part of AI is still elementary

No problem, I was leaning more towards the economic viability of AI, real life application and contribution to national GDP. In that aspect, China is a clear leader. Going by current rate, AI will contribute $15.7 trillion to global GDP by 2030 with China alone accounting for $7 trillion.
Most real life application of AI is in financial services, market personalization and predictive healthcare. Infact predictive healthcare due to ethical reasons is still elementary globally. China is miles ahead other countries when it comes to applying AI.

the prowess of America in AI is second to none.....do you even know why workers of Microsoft,Google and Amazon are protesting against the companies selling AI or helping American government in AI?.America has gone far in AI other countries are just scratching he surface...dobu even know why china is asking for control in AI usage...cos they have realised that they can't match America in AI prowess.the AI usage in military is where the power lies.china knows that America is already unmatched as pentagon is liaising with Google and Microsoft in AI revolution.


that aside,have u noticed that china is nowhere to be found in quantum computing and augmented realit...even in cloud computing,Alibaba is just catching up after Amazon, Microsoft and Google gulp about 70 percent of the sector...the truth is that china is poor in research and development.thiabis because Chinese government don't have laws of piracy.,they wait for western nations invent and then do reverse engineering.they are also godfathers in terms of spying on technological innovations of western companies..the latest example is Chinese officials. stealing Samsung tech on foldable phones..Taiwan,Japanese and Korean are the real researchers in Asia,not china..

Did you even read what I wrote? What I wrote earlier is based on a study by PwC. Those were not my feelings, it's reality. FYI, everybody spies and it has nothing to do with the discuss. Besides Chinese phones and other products are notoriously cheaper due to decades of deliberate devaluation of the Yuan, making them cheaper, not necessarily because they are inferior quality.
I will sign out by asking you the source of your information. I appreciate factual discuss, we can learn from each other.

4.their OEMs spend less or nothing on research and development

5.chinese OEMs combines latest technology with outdated tech in their phones...while Samsung and Apple update their phones with the latest technology.

number 1 and 4 are the biggest reason

if u doubt me, compare a Samsung phone and any Chinese phone of the same price and see the difference.

Clearly, you are not business inclined. All the reasons you stated is what you call competitive advantage, and you will find them in phones made for Third and second world countries. Why do you think Chinese phones have the highest sales in places like Nigeria and India? Talking of hi-tech Chinese phones, have you ever used a Huawei P Series or Mate Series?
Try driving a Toyota made for the Nigerian market and that made for the American market then you will understand.
The Chinese can make anything you want it just depends on who is buying.

India already launched missions to the moon previously.

Chandrayaan-1 was India's first lunar probe.

At least you agree Huawei is a match for any high end phone. Your earlier argument is that the Chinese can't make any top end phones. Thanks for the glaring admission.
The spy nonsense is old news and political sword fight, and has nothing to do with this discussion. The Chinese govt equally banned sale of iPhones last year. Whenever the reasons for the ban does not stop the iPhone being a good phone.
So your talk of Chinese spying and other yadayadayada holds no water.
Don't get me wrong, I don't like the Chinese and their foreign policy, but to refuse they have become a major competitor of the US is like playing ostrich.

EU never kicked off any major thing. It acted only as sidekick of USA.
