A fresh attack on Rekwechongu village in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State has claimed the lives of two persons.

The attack which took place on Friday, 3/5/2019 was said to be carried out by Fulani herdsmen.

The incident which occurred at about 10pm claimed the lives of one 62 year-old man, a Christian farmer by name Adi Zere, who was burnt beyond recognition and a 35-year-old mobile police officer, a native of the Irigwe tribe, who was also killed in the attack.

Two churches and several houses with some 58 food barns were burnt down, animals were killed and many farms worth millions of naira according to the locals were also destroyed.

A country without a president

I totally condemn this inhumane act by the Fulani men.
I try to fathom why would a human with a working conscience defer it and commit this great evil on a fellow peasant, there other means to recover damages where there exist a breach especially when it is not a "Dangote".
Sometimes or few occasions the fulani people might not be the ones who ignite the duel, some of the villagers especially the "hooligans " maraud the fulani men and steal their cows and there won't be much mainstream media coverage so we'll assume they're(fulani) the originator of the attack. this attack is making them handicap like someone who spent 5years +1year in Law School and end up not having no result to show for the time spent, some of those fulani men have worked all their life for herding cattle and end up losing it, it not an easy pill to swallow . Some of these people who spurn this violence may sometimes not get burnt by the heat of the reprisal attack which end up becoming too catastrophic for innocent people including children.

let' the Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, Igbo, Efik, Igala, Esan etc Desist from acts that can cause violence ...

At the end of the day one silly pastor from nowhere will say " let us kneel down and pray ..." but yet he is surrounded by bodyguards.

It is not the pastors fault. I blame members and community youths that wont stand up and fight back but rather chose to be clapping and shouting Jesus! Jesus! until their head is chopped off.

Nobody is stopping the members from getting their own bodyguard or fighting back and nobody forced them to stay in church. It is just common sense they lack
