You are not a teacher and you cannot understand all there is in teaching, you don't just teach only the subject and subject matter but you as a teacher is the first subject. Teachers need motivation to help them inculcate the right behaviors into the pupils or the students. I think that the take home pay to an extent play a big role in bringing out the best in a teacher/tutor.Whatever we do in the field of teaching is relevance to life and when it fails to meet this, learning will not take place . On the argument still lingering.

- Teaching is not easy and most teachers are paid less compared to counterparts in other profession. For dedicated and diligent ones I duff my hat for you always. You'll always earn my respect.

- On starting schools, I want to imagine how many schools we'll have if every educationist opt for starting school to teaching in another's school. Reality is that only few of them will - or do - eventually start a school. And that's not any teachers fault as the same goes for those who study business administration or finance as well as every other profession.

- Another reality is we cannot stop non-educationist from engaging in a profitable enterprise. If they start a school we just want them to go all the way to make every one happy across the divides and this includes the students.

@xtlife I understand you and @modupetemmy1 I only wish your desires are met.
- Impact of and solution to less quality education is a more important topic for us to debate.

You reverse the position of 1/4 on the right hand side to be 4/1
1/2 × 4/1
Then multiply horizontally
1×4 =4 and 2×1=2 so 4/2 which is 2

The second one 2 1/2 ÷ 1 1/2
Change them to improper fractions first. 2 1/2 will be 2×2=4 +1=5 so, 5/2....do the same for 1 1/2 = 2 ×1 =2 + 1= 3 /2

Now you have 5/2 × 3/2
Multiply horizontally again
5×3= 15
2×2=4
So 15/4
Or 3 3/4
