Hello everyone, A mistake was made in my age since when I wrote WAEC so I decided to continue using the wrong age cos it was on my WAEC result. I also used same wrong age on my bvn so it would tally with what I used in school and on my WAEC. But I want to change the age to the correct one. My real age is 25, but the mistake has been 28 ever since. HELP ME OUT NAIRALANDERS!

I'm facing same issue here my real age is 1991 but my WAEC was 1995 and I'm currently using 1995 in all my documents

The more you keep on using the wrong date of birth, the more you're complicating the issue. Immediately, you discovered, you should have sworn an affidavit to that respect; then you keep on using the right one (on your birth certificate.)
By the way, may be there's something I don't know. I notice people don't consider the option of affidavit when there's issue of wrong information on WAEC certificate. A lot of people just decide to adopt it afterwards. Is it that affidavit doesn't solve the issue or won't be recognise in such circumstance??

Which means once with affidavi the person is not getting the job

its better to fake a birth cert than do that age declaration affitdavit.

Let's not conclude like that though.
