Personally, i don't fuss over Box Office if the film isn't good. Venom was a hit financially but i detest it. No matter what you may say, Captain Marvel was at least a 7/10 & Endgame was incredibly awesome. The gospel truth is that at least 75% of MCU fall between the range of Good to Excellent. Obviously you're biased so i don't expect you to see that.

I have watched all MCU movies, and i can comfortably tell you that only 3 villains come to mind : Loki, Bucky and Thanos... The rest are forgetabble immediately you finish watching the movie, just there to fulfill all righteousness.

And BVS is better than most marvel movies : both in Cinematography, choreography, Story and plot line, graphical representation and depiction, as well as fight scenes.

Lol! You don't have to be so pained about this

First of, I like both Marvel and DC, just prefer the former a little

Secondly, it's not really logical to compare past and present movies together. Writers, producers and storylines has evolved, so as movies

With this, I'd say if Aquaman was released somewhere around 2016, it would have been really successful

Thirdly, a movie's release date in December is definitely gonna be a huge boost in BO, and when you add an interesting storyline and good special effects, it's definitely gonna break records

And lastly, again, don't be so pained about this.
