Atiku got 3.01 million.

Despite all the advantages Buhari enjoyed in the South West, he could not get a landslide victory.

The Advantages include:

1. Total control of all the 6 states in the south west.

2. Vice president is from the South west.

3. The super minister of Power, Works & Housing is from the South West

4. Lagos – Ibadan rail project.

5. Prospect of the presidential slot in 2023.

6. Impact of traders moni.

7. Impact of 2 bullion vans cash distributed on the election eve by Tinubu.

8. Voters intimidation in igbo populated areas of Lagos.

Nevertheless buhari could not win by a landslide.

The margin of his victory in osun is just 10,000, in Lagos 318,000, 44,000 in Ogun & 65,000 in ekiti.

On the other hand, Atiku won by 85,000 in ondo and 55,000 in oyo.

This shows how unpopular Buhari was.

Atiku deserves a standing ovation for his performance in the south west.

Total accreditation = 37.6 million

Total voided votes = 1.23 million

Total votes cast = 36.4 million

Winner / Atiku = 18.35 million

1st runner up /Buhari = 16.7 million

Other candidates = 1.3 million votes
