Peter Obi Reacts To Atiku’s Victory by edunwablog: 6:55am On Oct 08, 2018 |
Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has declared that the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was a good sign for the country ahead of the 2019 general election. He said this in a statement he released to the media Sunday night. Obi emphasised that what the PDP delegates did in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital. was “a mirror of what Nigerians want next year -free and transparent election”. Obi noted that although all the aspirants were qualified, the victory of Atiku showed that he was widely accepted. He commended other contestants for putting up brave contest and conducting themselves in a way befitting true leaders. Lamenting that Nigeria had derailed off the paths of development, Obi said that going by “Atiku’s wealth of experience, track record of wealth-creation, knack for identifying excellence among excellent people, detribalised nature and perfect understanding of the ills of the country”, the former VP had all it takes to restore the nation’s glory. “Having personally followed him in the past six months, listened and interacted with him on a number of issues negatively affecting our society, I observe in him a person who has the burning desire to leave a footprint in the sands of time”, the statement added. https://www.akelicious.net/2018/10/see-how-peter-obi-reacted-to-atikus.html 21 Likes 5 Shares

The battle will be very sweet and the victory will be even sweeter. Head or tail, SW wins this one for PMB. Should Atiku pick his VP from SE, it's a straight battle between SW and SE/SS. Should he pick his VP from SW, the SE/SS will feel shortchanged and Buhari will even have it easier. Note: Atiku will not see the tail of PMB in the presidential election in the North. It will be something in the ratio of 3:1 for PMB. 28 Likes 3 Shares |

PassingShot: Funny lots... He has a choice to pick whomever he wants, but as it is now, i think Nigeria would love to see a SE VP candidate, it would grow the Unity of this country. 125 Likes 6 Shares |

Sai Atiku. . . South South, South East and South West are solidly behind you. You are assured of 95% votes in the three regions. I would have made my analysis 100% but the remaining 5% comprises the zombies that are found only in the South West. Be rest assured, for South South and South East, we are giving you 100% of our votes. We will vote you as long as the dullard goes back to Daura to join his ancestors. Go and do your job in the North and 2019 is all yours. #Atikulation2019! 64 Likes 5 Shares |

Atiku be warned, when ipob starts supporting you, your failure is assured. If in doubt, ask GEJ, Jimi Agbaje, Fayose, Adeleke Ambode and most recently Saraki. Ipob miscreants are politically naive and have a track record of always picking a loser. They are not strategic in their political calculations. For them, it is all about sentiment. 19 Likes 1 Share |

BMC's are consoling themselves with these type of fake calculations while real APC politicians are worried. It's not good to be at the bottom of the food chain. You can't see what's coming till it's already on top of you! PassingShot: 23 Likes 4 Shares |

PassingShot: Most of the political pundits online seem to tie the fate of the SS and SE together without realising the diversity of political views and ethnic interests in the SS. The SE is one but the SS is a group of more than 30 disparate people. To bring them as one, Atiku needs to give us a rallying point and that rallying point has to be a VP slot. The swing region is the SS. The SE has no choice but to vote Atiku. The SW may not vote for Atiku regardless of who his VP is but the SS can give Atiku a bloc vote of 8m if he plays his cards right. He has to get a VP from the SS. SE is already certain for him. SW will be difficult for him even with a VP slot but a SS VP slot will consolidate his message of restructuring and true federalism. It will fetch him votes from states that may otherwise be divided and it will also curry him the favour of SEners that may not want a SWner as VP as well as SWners that many not want a SEner as VP. Its a win-win. All he needs to do is to get someone with widespread influence in the SS. Then he can promise the SW the position of SFG or SP. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

This VP slot will be high-wired horse-trading........... From both the SE and SW......... It will be a decider on whether Atiku wins or loses the elections before it even starts........ Congratulations again Alhaji.........as you wrestle PMB.... 6 Likes |

If you understood how politics is played, you wouldn't have made that statement. The opposition can no longer be loyal to an individual but loyal to a cause; the repatriation of Gen. Buhari back to Daura PS. And shaking hands with Saraki does not equate "siding" him for President globemoney: 7 Likes 1 Share |
