Orlu have more dualized roads than Oniths, Nnewi and Awka combined. Anambra State is disgustingly run. The government is too pedestrian and promote philistine decadence with his appointed of friends and clansmen into sensitive government offices. Look at Upper Iweka and the human activities going there no enough tress and everywhere keep heating up because of sun intensity. From Down flyover to Moore Street is the worst road, narrow and notorious with street trading at Ochanja couple with mountain heaps of malodorous refuse stench. Limca road , look at New Market Road where Pigs and Piglets sleep i open gutters, look at Niger Street where sand dredgers cover the entire road with dunes of sand from the River and the waterlogged the place.

Apart from Onitsha-Enugwu and Onitsha-Owerri done by the Federal Government there is no major state road in Anambra State that is dualize.

Anambra State is a very disgraceful place to be called one's state.

Its only foools and criminals that support Obiano and his incompetent govenment

National ICT Roadmap Workshop For Southeast Holds In Awka

National ICT Roadmap Workshop For Southeast Holds In Awka
Share on FacebookShare on WhatsappPin on PinterestTweet about this on TwitterShare on LinkedIn
The Minister of Communication, Dr. Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu says the federal government is committed to ensuring that the ICT sector realises its full potential as a viable alternative to the
diversification of the economy.

Dr. Shittu made this known during the Second Phase Sensitization Workshop on National ICT Roadmap for the South East Region held in Awka.

The sensitization workshop has its theme “The Role of the Private Sector in the Implementation of the Nigeria ICT Roadmap”.

Delivering his keynote address, the Minister explained that without effective involvement of the private sector in the implementation of the roadmap 2017 to 2020, its efficacy as a tool for harnessing the potentials of the sector will end up in mixed results, as efficiency, expertise and speed can go a long way in complementing efforts in the development process.

Dr. Shittu maintained that the sensitization programme has been deliberately planned by the Ministry as part of its roadmap engagements in furtherance to its desire to broaden continuous
consultations with stakeholders in the private sector.

He added that Nigeria now boasts of one hundred and fifty two million active telephone lines which are more subscribers than the United Kingdom as well as ninety seven million connections to the internet, which places the country to have one hundred and seven percent tele density.

Speaking on behalf of the Anambra state government, the Secretary to the State Government Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said that the workshop is timely and affirmed that the Willie Obiano administration is highly ICT compliant in its day to day activities, and urged the federal government to revive the nation’s energy sector as ICT cannot thrive very well without adequate power supply.

The Anambra State Commissioner For Tertiary Education, Science and Innovation Professor Theresa Nkechi Obiekezie in her address pointed out, that in moving towards knowledge driven society, there is increased recognition that technological advancements and innovations has enhanced the speed and intensity of globalization and liberation of all sectors of the economy.

Goodwill messages came from the Nigerian Communications Commission and Nipost among other relevant organizations, while the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Entrepreneurship Mr Ifeanyi Aniago equally attended the workshop.

This is Jide Taiwo. These are major real estate firms that are holding real estate in Lagos and Abuja. Simple google search will reassure you.

Stop talking nonsense, Jide taiwo is not a major player in the real estate market in Lagos. They are in Lagos but not a major player. They are only dominant in Ibadan Oyo state where they started from and the founder is from there, but not Lagos..

Again, there is jide taiwo in Owerri.
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MXr8p: 10:34am On May 07, 2019
Shut up you know nothing about real estate. Jide Taiwo is among the top 5 real estate firms in Nigeria and their head office is in Lagos. Ask any estate surveyor or use your Google.

Diya fatimilehim is among the top 3 in Nigeria with branches even in Europe. The only place they have base in SE is in Onitsha.

Use your Google and stop spewing nonsense

Shut up this lying old fool. Now you have come with another dimension after busting your claims with screenshots. If i had not busted your lies would have agreed that NBC has shut down its Enugu state operations? Now you are trying to explain the difference between this and that. So why did they shut down there? Lying mofo. Would you have owned up that there even the major corporations operating in Onitsha as their regional head offices.

You deserve every insult because you are such a nauseating lying vagabond, that was the same thing you did in that omambala site and now you are here.

Yes ATMA, OCHA brigade has restored sanity, order, organization on our roads and that is a fact, if you don't agree with that then take hike old fool.

ATMA, OCHA has maintained clean and decent environment in and around our markets across the state. They have made sure that makeshifts are out of our cities and continued to do so across the state. I was even at Ekwulobia recently, all those makeshifts in front the park have all been removed. The same thing has happened in Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi. You can only lie to people that does not know you and not me.

Why not go to Kenya and leave Nigeria in peace with their mentality. Must you be a Nigerian? Some people change their nationality, why not do the same than coming here everyday to lie and when one lie is busted you move to another lie. Why are are you cursed with lies? I spit on you.

Now back to mtn, glo, etc, please tell us again where their regional head offices are located. That was the same lies you told until i busted you like a pig now you have moved onto another lie. You always have me here to contend with because i will always make sure you are busted each time you lie. Anambra is not the reason you are hopeless, useless and worthless in life, leave Anambra or Nigeria and relocate to Kenya.

You are now talking about Sandtex, Dulux, and no more MTN, GLO, Coca Cola etc. Honestly you should be crown and hanged as the king of lies cheesy

Anambra has the best and fantastic healthcare facilities, that even our leaders seek for treatment there because it is up to standard. God continue to bless Anambra state..

Former governor of Anambra and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice-Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi is ill.

He had on Monday, visited Queen of the Rosary Hospital, Onitsha, where his blood samples were taken to run some tests.

He was also admitted for few hours where he received treatments for an undisclosed ailment.

Contacted, Obi’s Media Aide, ‎Valentine Obienyem said that his principal has since returned back to work.

“He only complained of being a little feverish. Yes, he visited the hospital but has since returned and gone back to work.

“Like every human being, he gets sick. But what struck me this afternoon was that one of his friends that visited him, who also learnt that he visited the hospital, argued so vehemently that for a person like him, any sign of discomfort should see him of the UK for good care.

“I watched in amusement when Mr. Peter Obi disagreed with him by telling him that the urge to travel is because our leaders neglect the health sector.”

He quoted Obi as saying, “There are many hospitals I can confidently visit when ever in Anambra State. I can visit Odumegwu-Ojukwu Teaching Hospital at Awka, we got it accredited. I can visit the General Hospital at Onitsha, we also got it accredited. Mr… Know it today that Peter Obi can visit Our Lady of Lourdes, Ihiala; Queen of Rosary, Onitsha; Borromeo, Onitsha; St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu; Diocesan Hospital, Amichi.

“Why do I say so? I know the resources our Government committed to these hospitals and I can testify the level of their improvement before we left office. If leaders sustain such efforts, in 20 years, nobody should be talking of medical tourism. I went to Waterside and received fantastic treatment. I spent not up to 1/30th of what I would have spent If I travelled.

“Remember to add the flight ticket and other expenses. This is exactly my argument when we started supporting mission hospitals – these hospitals are in Anambra State and primarily treat people from the state.”

Alusi, I understand your frustrations and that of any onye Anambra who believed so much in Obiano to turn Anambra around. Even ,if all our needs are not met we hope to see a major improvements in areas of sanitation, town planning/zoning. However, it is painfully sad that Obiano has failed Anambra, abysmally! His second tenure is almost over, and, Oniano is yet to fix waste disposal and management, dualization of major roads and beautification/planting of ornamental trees, completion of Onitsha hotel Obi started, full equipment of the Awka Teaching Hospital and host of others.

He made so much noise about raising our IGR yet he has continued to keep the figures a secret. Where do we go from here ? Its beginning to look like Anambra will never achieve her dreams of becoming a first world society with all the necessary amenities and government services.

*We dig borehole and a suckerpit next to it.
*We set of shacks anywhere we find open spaces and start petit trading selling anything from onions to okrika.
*We let motorists drive carelessly on our roads endangering and killing our people.
* We employ unqualified teachers that teach our children nonsense.*
*We dig holes and throw cement on it and call it drainage whilst mosquitoes grow on them and spread malaria.
*We build houses randomly without town planning and zoning laws.
*We spend more than half of our budgets on recurrent expenditures at the expense of dilapidated and non existing infrastructures.

Obiano is a colossal failure!
