Don't get your hopes too high. Sierra Leone became a colony of Nigeria after our soldiers helped them to quell their civil war. Since then, they have depended on Nigeria and Nigerians for almost everything. They buy almost everything from Nigeria, even speak our pidgin english and have the Nigerian accent. Right now, Innoson has not even captured Igboland and you are dreaming of abroad.

What's important is for him to expand his client base into other African countries and yes he has started with SL, that's a good start.

INNOSON should build a factory in Sierra Leone to supply the rest of West Africa and indeed the world.

Sierra Leone government will offer INNOSON massive support to invest in their country and also assist INNOSON to have a smooth operations and export based business since they will be benefiting from taxes and export of INNOSON vehicles made in Sierra Leone.

Also import dutues are a lot cheaper in Sierra Leone than Nigeria. Therefore, the cost of manufacturing a unit will also be cheaper. Hopefully, INNOSON will seriously consider expanding to other African countries in a similar fashion that Dangote expanded his business to build cement factories in more than 30 African countries.

Your last sentence: for that to happen he needs a huge injection of funds. You can forget him going the Dangote way of taking loans at favourable terms because he doesn't have the connections Dangote has. His next option, which is feasible, would be to go PLC and raise funds from the capital market.

The investment includes forwarding infrastructure to Mont Kigali and Rebero reservoirs.

Meanwhile, the government also plans to upgrade Nzove ESPINA from 25,000 to 40,000 cubic meters per day and make it cheap to operate once completed.

“Our target is to do all possible to avail water to all, to achieve this there will be construction new water treatment plants as well as upgrading the existing ones in rural, small cities, secondary cities as well as in the city of Kigali,” he said.

More projects

According to the minister Gatete, several projects to address water shortage are on-going while plans are underway to embark on new projects.

He said that the Government had secured two loans from the African Development Bank (AfDB); one of $268.5 million and another of $131 million and are sourcing from different development partners to implement a number of projects.

The project is expected to boost water supply in in Kigali suburbs including Kabeza, Samuduha, Busanza and Kanombe, according to the minister.

Others are construction of Nzove–Ntora forwarding infrastructure which would evacuate 70,000 cubic meters and is expected to be completed by September 2021 under the support of Japanese Government.

The government also plans to generate 40,000 cubic metres from Kanzenze (Metito) water treatment plant under Public Private Partnership (PPP) framework to supply City of Kigali and parts of Bugesera District, and this is expected to be commissioned in June 2020.

In rural areas, the Government water supply projects include among others, the rehabilitation and Expansion of Gihira water treatment plant to 15,000 cubic meters per day to supply different areas in Rubavu district.

The government also intends to invest in rehabilitation and expansion of Distribution networks in six secondary cities namely Musanze, Rubavu, Rusizi, Muhanga, Nyagatare and Huye districts totalling of 1,112 km.

Others include Ngoma treatment plant of 12,000 cubic meters per day to serve Nyagatare district.

Other parts such as Gatsibo and Kayonza district are set to benefit from Muhazi water treatment plant of 10,000 cubic meters per day to serve, according to the officials.

Residents of Muhanga and Kamonyi will benefit from Kagaga water treatment plant whose capacity of 9,000 cubic meters per day according to the officials.

Busogwe water treatment plant of 12,000 cubic meters will serve Ruhango and Nyanza district while Mushogoro water treatment plant of with 7,000 cubic meters per day will serve Karongi and Rutsiro districts.

grin grin grin grin grin grin grin these miscreants here are under the payroll of Obano. Nnewi roads are the worst in the history of mankind, is it the narrowness, lack of street furnitures, potholes not markings. Anmabra State government failed Nnewi, anybody from ANSG that goes to Nnewi for tax deserves to be lynched

[/s] Peter Obi paid trolls like you won't see any good in anything Obiano has done in Nnewi. Nnewi is still half village, half town and shouldn't expect the kind of government interventions in our main cities of Onitsha and Awka but Obiano has still gone ahead to fix their roads and provide them with streetlights. Obiano has also intervened in erosion control projects in umudim and nnewichi but the gods of nnewiland must be punishing Nnewi for the neglect of the town by their billionaire sons because for every erosion site that Obiano tackles in Nnewi, two new ones surface. What are Nnewi billionaires doing with their billions?

Nnewi roads are in a bad shape and needs Obiano to revamp them for the good of Anambra state.Atleast 4 Major roads in Nnewi needs to be reshaped and dualized in order to help Nnewi many Aku luo uno investors to continue their remarkable achievements.
this is Nnewi to Oba road. It has been done and fitted with streetlights even.

I dunno the road you’re referring to bt I don’t think you should expect every single road tarred.

My only qualms it’s theyre single lanes by saying no road was tarred @all is a lie
