I'm disappointed knowing that some people actually liked this opinion.

we all need to start respecting each other cultures and shouldn't sacrifice our customs for the practices of those we assume to be developed.

Every culture has his or her own suit, we have the American suit, Italian and French.... why then shouldn't we be proud of an Hausa suit (the babaringa) the Yoruba suit (Agbada) or the Egyptian or Morrocan suits.

Look at the Arabs, you always see them adorn there suits everywhere they are... Why then do we Africans consider our suits to be an obsolete way of dressing

This Emir Sanusi is just a big time Legend.Way back during former President Jonathan era,he did told Jonathan that in a sane Country where Nigeria earns #100 (as example) per month and uses #60 to pay political office holder's, such a Country economy would never grow.
Jonathan got so angry, he removed him as the CBN Governor. Exactly six months after,he became the Emir of Kano.Less than a week Gov.Ganduje brought a limit to Sanusi's power in the emirate. He got this international job offer.
In life,do not ever join hands to bring a reputable man down or to destroy a man who can die for the truth.

Finally, Baba has been compensated.... When your enemies think they are playing Kalo Kalo with you, then don't know that they are positioning you, for a greater responsibility.

This has nothing to do with enemies
This decision must've been taken long before the Kano govt action

Saunsi should know that he is now a Royal father. You can't engage a sitting governor in battle rather you use engagement to get anything you can get for your people until his government comes to end.

How did he engage the Governor in a battle ? All of you double mouthed citizens are the reason these politicians keep messing up the country. You cannot speak to the government officials out of fear or selfish interest yet,you condemn those you are courageous enough to speak for the people. One day, nobody will speak again. Then those of you who think you are untouchable better be ready for KARMA !
