A SAN petitioned against the CJN, can you imagine the total disregard for hierarchy? Tanko should do the noble thing and resign(even tho I know Africans don't resign). because it is quite clear everybody is against him.

. it amazes me that some of you don't read before you make any post. The case has already resolved against the petitioner. it was resolved by the NJC that the acting Chief justice didn't made himself available to be sworn in but simply obeyed the valid court order of the Code of conduct tribunal that suspended the substantive CJN and recommended the next in line to be appointed as acting CJN.

just Google "NJC on Tanko petition" they also approved the request of the President to extend his tenure by 3 months pending the determination of all the preliminary cases in the court.

You are been mischievous,Tanko said he was invited by the president n shown a court order suspending the CJ hence he agreed to be sworn as acting CJ, buhari never involved the NJC or NASS because the whole thing was pre-planned, now where most people fault Tanko n rightly too is,1,he should have known the ex parte order issued by CCT was fraudulent n invalid except if he wasn't allowed to peruse through the order which would have raised grounds for reasonable suspicion,but because he was surely brief n hence part of the scheme,he is only trying to explore n use lacuna in the law to justify illegality,for reasons best known to people like you,you support what is happening forgetting about a tommorow.A lot of people followed the story closely don't try to twist the narrations to suit your views please.

I did not bother to read your illiterate trash, is Tanko in position to declared an injunction to be illegal? or court of law.Are you more qualified in judicial system than the NJC who absolved him? can the post of CJN ever be vacant? please go and educate yourself

I'm not going to engage you in insults,but what I Know for certain is that the whole onnoghen saga was pre-planned n the NJC compromised,the appeal court ruling today on the ex parte order issued by the CCT which buhari n Tanko relied upon just confirmed it, buhari can do whatever he likes today,you can hail n cheer him on but it won't last forever.
