Net worth = Total Asset - Total Liabilities.
The property you acquired isn't yours until you finish paying so it's a liability.

You are the one NOT okay.. A man's total worth can be 1m and he can be able to acquire property worth more than his net worth. All he need is a facility. What underwriters look at is NOT your worth, but your ability to properly service your facility. Like I said, explaining this is waste of time.

The blogger behind this post is ignorant here. Drake has his own private jet since like 2012 or even earlier. This jet right here is a jumbo jet and is usually not the choice for rich folks who want to own a private jet. They usually go for Gulfstreams, Bombardiers, Embraers, etc. The top of the range for these brands should be $65 million to $75 million. Only Presidents or individuals with access to state funds or hyper billionaires privatize Boeing 747s and Airbuses.

This jet right here is likely LEASED for a tour, or LEASED for sub-charter under the unique brand associated with Drake (Air Drake). Its like Mercedes Benz agreeing with Davido to give an S-class charter service featuring services exclusive to the Davido brand, thus you are charged higher, or just like buying a Mercedes super car associated with the Lewis Hamilton Brand, it will be way more expensive. Its simple business and more money for drake.

Stop this nonsense misinformation. And for those who can believe anything, I doff hat for you.

Drake did not withdraw $199 million dollars cash to buy the private jet as this is not feasible.

There is something called amortization and it allows for payments to be made by reliable individuals or organizations by installments over a period of time.

It also permits for an initial down payment possibly from affiliate companies which I strongly belive is how he acquired the jet.

But to say he paid the value wholly in cash is highly improbable

Trump, Lau, Usmanov, Ibrahimovic, and Talal beg to differ.

Biz jets are not that common because Gulfstreams and Globals perform just as well without the baggage.

From a financial point of view, it's much better plunking down 9 figures on a 200+ ft mega yacht than a BBJ/ACJ (or comparable refit airliners) with far fewer amenities.

Moreover, one could buy it via his/her company as a corporate jet, and have a Gulfstream G650ER as a personal toy.
