Buhari and members of his cabinet are all patronizing tramadol sellers and this is why they have refused to sign the pharmacy act amendment bill aimed at addressing this issue of drug abuse.

This may sound like a joke, but a critical look into the matter will reveal the culpability of this government in the cases of drug abuse.

Imagine how fast they acted in releasing that girl arrested with trams in saudi!

Buhari is in love with trams and will never do anything to stop drug abuse!!! It's unfortunate he doesn't understand the effect of the drug on people's lives and mental wellbeing.

Ignorance is a disease!!!!!!

I hate buhari because he was the one who signed for the banning of the drug, now I can not use it anymore because the banning of the drug has made the price to skyrocket.

They only ended up increasing the prize in the market. But the drug is still very much available and being sold in the streets.

There's no concrete law on ground to prosecute those distributing the drug in the open market and that is one of the many issues the new law seeks to address. Many of the drugs in circulation in Nigerian markets are fake and these fake drug merchants operate freely because they know that there are no laws to prosecute them. Even when they are arrested they settle the police and drug law people and continue in their illicit trade. It's too bad!

You won't understand the grave danger of having fake drugs in circulation until you visit our hospitals to see the number of people dying on daily basis due to fake drugs and drug abuse.

Increasing the price is not going to stop people from taking it, it's only going to increase crime hence making people desperate, they will steal foR it, they will lie, cheat and they will even kill for it, why do you think crime has skyrocketed these days? Go to my father's driver neighbourhood, tramadol addicts are now choping people up with machetes just so that they could steal their Cash and other belongings to sell for cash to go and buy tramadol.

We are saying the same thing. Those who understand what's up in the drug market sat down with saraki and the rest of the Senate to draft the PCN act amendment bill which when signed into law will go a long way in solving the problem of drug abuse, but the presidency seems not interested in signing it into law! It seems they have allowed the beneficiaries of the chaotic drug market to highjack the bill!

Tomorrow they'll still come and cry foul about increasing rate of drug abuse and crime!

Nigeria is not just serious at all!!!!
