Russian president Vladimir Putin, fell on his face as he waved to supporters after an exhibition ice hockey game with former National Hockey League players.

The 66-year-old president who is a sport regular, took a face-first spill while waving to the crowd during a post-game victory lap at Sochi’s Bolshoy Ice Dome.

Putin fell on the ice on Friday night for the annual exhibition match alongside the Legends team including ex-NHL players, Russian hockey stars such as Hall of Famers Slava Fetisov and Pavel Bure.
