Biafra Technology Had Solution To Nigeria’s Problems –tsav by besti16: 10:30am On May 12, 2019
Senior statesman and previous Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Abubakar Tsav, has said that Nigeria would have been among created countries if it had tapped the developments of Biafra after the current war.

As per him, the inability to acknowledge the Biafran innovation after the war and the progressive degenerate initiative Nigeria has had throughout the years has been in charge of the nation's poor advancement records.

In a meeting with Sun paper, Tsav stated: "I implore that individuals who are coming currently are the individuals who have the enthusiasm of the general population on a fundamental level and are God-dreading; they are there to profit, yet are there to serve the country.

"Since the finish of the conventional war, we have not been advancing as a country in light of the fact that amid the universal war for example, when the Biafrans were kept to their domain, they had no alternative than to gadget a methods for survival, and they had the option to make bombs, mines, refine oil-based commodities, and other innovative accomplishments.

"On the off chance that we had acknowledged them, when the war was finished, at this point we would have gone a long ways past where we are today; we would have been mechanically best in class.

"We never accomplished that since we are not joined together, we are immoral and childish. In the event that we had tapped the resourcefulness of the Biafrans, those creations, and so forth, Nigeria would have been a long ways ahead than what we are today, yet sadly, debasement came in light of the fact that everyone needed to profit for himself; that is the reason we are in this sorry state now.

"Through debasement, individuals are getting quite a lot of money that they don't have a clue about the number of houses they have, and that is the reason we are as yet battling that we can't deliver normal toothpick in this nation; we can't create tissue in this nation. Every one of these things is imported from various nations of the world. It is a major disgrace to be sure."

The truth is a bitter pill but it must be swallowed if the patient is to survive. Thank God a middle belt elder has decided to speak up.
The north 'won' the war (with massive British input) they but are trailing behind the igbo who lost. Isn't that something ? It shows you our entire national policy is built on a foundation that cannot endure.

Nigeria is a ship on collision course with the iceberg of destiny.

PS Note to BMC crew and other bigots : I am not Igbo. I am just a student of history and lover of truth.

Basic rudimentary technology that if given the time and support would have become cutting-edge today!

Honestly, when you travel round Nigeria and you know history, you will discover there is something spectacular about the Igbos.

Nigeria and Nigerians are aware that the Igbo nation is the hope of Nigeria's technological and industrial revolution, but the fear of their atrocities against and betrayals of Ndigbo, is hunting them like hell.

Shameless and unrepentant Fulani ass licker because he spoke the truth? Isn't rapture about to take place?

I may have issues with Tsav on some national issues, but on this one, he's spot on. Listen, it doesn't matter if you're Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba, the truth is that Nigeria lost the opportunity to leverage on the gaint strikes of Biafra after the war. If those ammunitions (even as crude as they were then) had been developed, we won't still be relying on South Africa for ammunitions to face Boko Haram.

Sometimes, we need to tell ourselves the truth hoping that we may learn from our mistakes.

There are many ifs. Ifs don't translate to reality.

Military technological advances requires sound science and technical education and a military industrial complex. It requires advanced metallurgy and material science, it requires a machine tools industry and of course adequate power infrastructure.

Which of these things did/do the igbos possess?

Innovations and advancement in technology comes with critical wars. Mankind advanced in the shortest possible time after facing the biggest war in it's whole existence, World war II. Countries like Israel are examples of what military potentials a nation could harness when held up in siege.
In the Nigerian civil war, the Biafrans were forced to improvise and inspite of lack of resources or the ability to utilise them they tried getting results with the little could use and this, Nigerians, is the key to development of military capabilities. CREATIVITY makes technology usable not science, science only makes it RELIABLE. If only the surprising effectiveness of those crude weapons were admitted, their efforts recognised and the mindset replicated, Nigeria would well be the strongest military power in Africa.
Nowhere in Africa, I emphasize, none, that experienced a civil war were able to achieve such technical accomplishments without steady and open support with weapon supplies from foreign powers like there was in the long lost Biafra.

It's time the truth be looked straight in the eyes and be called for what it is, fact. Biases be set aside if we truly intend to move forward as a nation.

Check up from credible sources and argue with facts if you disagree

Yes, Biafra technology has solution to Nigeria's problems but does not have solution to Biafra problems of drug trafficking, kidnapping, fake drugs, prostitution, human trafficking and baby factory.

Quit pretending to be intelligent when you are not. I'm very sure you don't even understand what you wrote up there, when you copy and paste info from one site, you think you are sound and brilliant.

Necessity they say is the mother of invention, the Igbo were forced by blockade and international calls conspiracy to think home and produce all those ammunitions which Tsav has commended. We're talking 20th century military invention which would have been great had we brought them into the 21st century.
You can live in hate all your life but it won't change a thing.

Open your mind and read the post you quoted again. It has been established that some technologies were developed out of contingency which were quite impressive considering the circumstances and time frame of the war even though some might argue that they were crude.

The message the poster was stating was the improvements and strides NIGERIA would have made IF those crude technologies had been developed instead of destroying or abandoning them as we have seen in the last 50+ years.

I don't know if it's over-sense that blinded you or igbophobia.

space travel wasted more resources and looked to take more than it could give at the moment. Does that mean it's not worth it? And, the U.S got to space with the same project Hitler (of Germany) felt was a waste, the same technology he thought was unrealistic and unfeasible

So, in this article, I will present to you five things Biafrans invented during the civil war using Igbo technology.

1. Uli Airstrip: Although Igbos were cut-off from the rest of the world during the civil war, their ingenuity came to the fore as they constructed the Uli airstrip and when that airstrip was bombed, they repaired it in record time and under the most trying circumstances. They would go on to repair Uli not once and not twice using Igbo technology.

2. Fuel from palm fruit: The Igbos refined petrol from a variety of non-fossil fuels, including from but not limited to palm products (from which they also produced diesel).

3. War Missiles (Ogbunigwe): Using the same Igbo technology, my fellow countryman – Gordian Ezekwe – manufactured surface to air missiles which Igbos also adapted to surface to surface missiles.

4. Fighter Jets: The Igbos are the only tribe to convert commercial planes to fighter jets and weaponized them. That was no mean feat in 1967.

5. Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC): Using not but Igbo technology, the Igbos built the first indigenous armored personnel carrier in Black Africa is the Red Devil during the Nigerian Civil War.

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan once said: “In fact, when in 2012, the Nigerian Army rolled out the igirigi and promoted it as the first indigenous armored personnel carrier, they were wrong.

“I am not a Biafran. I am proudly Nigerian. And beyond that, I am a proud dark skinned Black African yet I make bold to say that the igirigi is not the first indigenous APC.

“The Nigerian Civil War ended in January 1970 and the Nigerian Army unveiled the igirigi in July of 2012. If they had converted the Red Devil to their own use, they would probably be talking about a greater feat in the year 2012.

“That is where we failed as a nation.

“This is why I was so disgusted with the minister of science and technology, Ogbonnaya Onu for aspiring, on Nigeria’s behalf, to produce pencils by 2018! I mean this man is the first civilian governor of the old Abia state which today encompasses both Abia and Ebonyi states.”

Using the same Igbo technology I have been talking about, on a flipside, there is hardly anything including electronics, pharmaceuticals, spirits and wines that the Igbos cannot counterfeit today. (Imanuel Jannah)
