hello everyone,

I have a quick question and need the help of the house.

I intend creating my express entry profile but i'm stuck trying to figure out the correct NOC code to use.

I worked as an operations and maintenance engineer
Here is my job description;

▪ Identifying operational priorities by assessing operational objectives; determining project objectives, such as, efficiency, cost savings, energy conservation, operator convenience, safety, environmental quality; estimating relevance, time, and costs.

▪ Developing operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions; calculating economics; determining the impact on total system.
▪ Anticipating operational problems by studying operating targets, unit limitations, modes of operation and monitoring unit performance.
▪ Providing operational management information by collecting, analyzing, as well as summarizing operating and engineering data and trends.
▪ Ensuring that industrial machinery and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently.

Thank you all for your help!

This is chemical or process engineer job role, just google chemical engineer NOC

Thanks for your prompt response.

It keeps saying there is no record.

I even tried today using the UCI and Application number that was in the Medical request form and it brings out the same message.

Let me use the link and believe it will be sent.

Thanks once again.

If your VO is Kenya, use this: nrobi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

What challenges are you having with linking your application?

Hello house,

I'm new here.

Does anyone have idea if ICES will evaluate PGD from Nigerian Institute of Journalism? And if same will be evaluated as a masters degree.

Thank you as you respond.

Hello house. Please I have some questions.

1. Which certificate is more acceptable and will increase points. PRince 2 (IT) or PMP.

2. If any of these is acceptable, do I have to evaluate them too? Also if I need to evaluate will ICAS or IQAS assist with the evaluation?

Thank you all for your help
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by amaya21: 12:36pm On May 13, 2019
PGD is not typically evaluated as a Masters. They're two different types of degrees. You might consider looking into how your CRS score would look like with 'two or more certificates' - your Bsc and your PGD.

Hello house, happy, Sunday to all. please a quick one, I have a brother who has a BSC accounting and ICAN and CITN certifications. Please would these certifications be rated as master’s or professional degree on the CRS rating tool. In addition, I would like to know which assessing body would be most appropriate in assessing it. Please accountants in the house, Ifeoma, and all the house.. Thanks for your anticipated response.

Please, this is still pending all

Meaning I have to evaluate both the PGD and BSc. Please do you think ICES is ok for this evaluation??

Depends. WES is faster (7 weeks) than ICES (14 weeks). These timelines are from receipt of all your documents. However, WES requires WAEC for the Bsc unless you did it outside Nigeria. WES also sometimes requires verification and your school may or may not be responsive to this. WES is also cheaper if you evaluate both at the same time (one fee) as opposed to ICES that will charge you per evaluation. So these are some things to consider.

ICAN and CITN would not get a positive evaluation. if he/she has ATS, it could be combined with the bsc.
