The only reason she was freed is because she is a Muslim and from the north.

There are thousands of Southerners languishing in various prisons worldwide for drugs related crime and yet no one intervened in their case. Many are innocent but were killed.

A truly harrowing experience. So close to the executioner's beheading knives and yet rescued by divine intervention. I can only imagine how many innocent Nigerians that have met their untimely death for crimes they know nothing about, simply because the Nigerian Government would not care about their citizens and also due to massive stereotyping of the ideal Nigerian.
