Hello Gurus,
I need your thoughts on 2001/2002 Toyota Avensis wagon as a small car for haulage. I intend using it once in a while for small haulage/logistics job. Also I will need other viable options as Toyota products are hot-cake. Thanks

Wagon is better. Car is strong. Cotonou people use it for transportation.

1999/2000 Avensis hatchback/wagon or CarinaE hatchback/wagon, those cars are beasts especially the carinaE will fit into that profile of haulage and logistics. Preferably get the 1.8L engine.

Nissan primera P11 wagon, Mazda wagon, Volvo 740 series, Passat wagon B4 this ones can be modified at the rear to withstand heavy cargo, some came with rear axle for that cargo capacity from factory.

If you're gonna be doing a lot of haulage.. Manual is best, stay off auto trans.

Carina E and that Avensis are same thing UpTo 90% so if you tell me you are buying carina I take it you know it's same thing as that year Avensis.

Fuel economy are so identical it's Negligible as all vehicles have 4cylinder version. Though the Passat and Volvo 4cylinder may be different because they are in a higher class than the rest and they are top heavy.

If you want a cheap and easier maintenance, just go for the CarinaE or the avensis
