God chose Saul because He could see from Saul's thoughts and aspirations that he wanted to be a king. Though, it wasnt God's perfect will, God permitted Saul's dream and wish, all the same, a handsome young man. There was not a man among the people of Israel more handsome than he. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people, to come true.

Look at Saul's pretence response in 1 Samuel 9:21, pretending like he isnt at all interested, to what Samuel, in 1 Samuel 9:20 said about him: "But who is it that the people of Israel want so much? It is you--you and your father's family."

God chose Saul because He could see from Saul's thoughts and aspirations that he wanted to be a king. Though, it wasnt God's perfect will, God permitted Saul's dream and wish, all the same, a handsome young man. There was not a man among the people of Israel more handsome than he. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people, to come true.

Look at Saul's pretence response in 1 Samuel 9:21, pretending like he isnt at all interested, to what Samuel, in 1 Samuel 9:20 said about him: "But who is it that the people of Israel want so much? It is you--you and your father's family."

You can want anything in your heart generationz but remember the buck ends with God. Remember Jesus' prayer in Matthew 26:39: "“My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”"

Moses said.. Show me your glory God..

God replied..

Because he saw a part of God.. Some revelations became visible to him..

Moses wanted to know about tomorrow, but God said, no, as nobody knows about tomorrow and live. Tomorrow is a mystery. Nobody can see into tomorrow to know what is going on in it nor the future about what's going on in it.

Anyway, God, climbed down a bit, and in effect, told Moses that, He will put Moses in the cleft of the rock and he will see His back. He will show him His back, as in, the past, show him about yesterday(s). He will show Moses how He started creation, show him how He created the first man and woman, show him how He did all the good things, that all His goodness He will cause them to live stream before Moses. He will demonstrate and clearly show the truth of His name by showing Moses proof and/or evidence of it, but His face, Moses cannot see, he can't see into the future.

So Moses literally was subjected to watching a playback of events. Creation was wound back to the beginning for Moses to watch, it was like as if, Moses, with popcorn in hands, was watching a rewinded film or movie video. That in essence, is how the Pentateuch got written, that was how Moses got and managed to write up the book of Genesis
