Waje has also called out Bishop Umoh a.k.a Okon Lagos over his video in which he defended Abuja policemen over the rape of ladies accused of being prostitutes.

This came after we reported that the Nollywood actor who faulted the charge, stated that the Abuja policemen who raped the ladies accused of being prostitutes should have been charged with theft and not rape.However Waje who called out Okon Lagos stated that is quite a shame as rape is rape, no matter the job the person involved strives on.

Okon Lagos is risking his career. Rape is rape. A prostitute wont be one if people had carnal knowledge of her without her consent. In some countries, that unguarded comment would land him in deep shit. He might hate prostitution like yours truly. But that is not the way to express his dissatisfaction. He should swallow his pride and apologize. Prostitution is bad but condoning rape of prostitutes is worse. It's just like saying because stealing is bad, jungle justice is all right.

The guy never justified rape. He only jokingly said those policemen should be charged with theft cos the stole what the ashawo were selling and did not pay.
