MTN Nigeria Communication Plc successfully floated its shares on the Nigeria stock exchange market yesterday Thursday 15th May. The shares price is placed at a unit price of N90 per share, making it the second largest listed company in Nigeria. The shares started trading around 2.14 PM on Thursday, only 16 minutes before the market closed for the day.

Fund your account

After opening your account, you need to fund it to be able to place order for shares. The MTN Nigeria share has a price of N90/share, so you have to furnish your account with enough funds to purchase as much shares as you want. You can chat up your broker to know of any charges and make enquiries if you are confused.



Place your orders

Thank you sir. Without this education, one would have rushed into the fool's gold. But I have a question though. How does a shareholder monitor when the company has made a profit or a loss so as to avoid false declaration by such companies? I guess google is my friend.

You're a smart man. Stock values tend to dip within the first 90 days of listing, after the initial euphoria has worn off. Whatever prices you're seeing right now isn't the true price. It's largely buoyed by speculation and capital inflow. The "real" price often emerges afterwards. Listen to this man here folks, and hold your horses for at least 90 days. Good luck.

He's simply a crypto investor and not a trader from his responses, I laughed real hard when he mentioned Autobots, and ICO's.

Shares ke! I run away... Stumbled on the certificate of Oceanic bank shares I bought in 2007. Ecobank came reduced a thousand plus shares to less than 100. Bye-bye to shares in Nigeria for me.

You just reminded me of how i bought both Oceanic and Fbn shares then. I have only benefited from Fbn since then and nothing from the so-called Eco bank

I personally do not do arbitrage, but I can tell you that ICOs are not outdated. Rather, you will have a sifting or a filtering. Now anyone who is bringing an ICO to the market has to feature a real use case which is already being applied in the market to convince investors of investability of their project. But to say blanketly that ICOs are outdated may be too much of a generalization.

MTN share is a good buy.
