Excuzeme:
I may not like Sanusi II but all these useless governors tampering with our traditional institutions, shoudl stop!
Who is 'rotten-teet'h Ganduje sef?
Apart from "politics" that made him a Governor, what else is his achievement in life?

Governors should mind their Politics and leave the traditional institution alone.
But the blame lies with that Evil gap-toothed thing called IBB (babangida), it was him and some of his military Coup-plotters that inserted the "subjugation of our Traditional Rulers" to State Governors, into the Constitution.

Politicians have destroyed everything they touched, now they are destroying the Traditional insitution.
Well, we shall all face the consequence, including fools like Ganduje himself.

Let him come and dethrone me. undecided undecided
Good point...but the subjugation of the traditional rulers started with the Colonialist government...and was handed over to our government on independence.

Some examples of deposition by the colonists...Attahiru of Kano...who was deposed in the early 1900's..

I can bet you that Yeebows will cry more about the Kano Emirates than Hausa /Fulani.

Abokis and Ijaws call you slaves. Why are you guys making the label even more believable ?

I have NEVER seen a Yoruba / Hausa man complain about "disrespect" to an Eze.

Nawa oooo
Those you are reffering to are busy making money, buying up all the lands in the south west and north, becoming landlords in a land not originally there's and determining the cost of real estate.
So they do not care about the emirate one bit.

Sanusi wants to block another bribery scheme by gandollar.sanusi seems to be too sound for gandollar to comprehend.Ganduje should have been the traditional ruler while Sanusi should have been governor.Sanusi should please resign and contest for 2023 presidency.Depending on the opposition candidate,he should have my vote.

Aminu Ado Bayero the new Emir of Bichi will be a good Emir for his people just like his dad. I could remember that he was once Ikemba Ojukwu's running mate in APGA in 2003 or 7 presidential election. He will do good for his people.

Evil will always continue to thrive in this country so long as some block heads in Nigeria continue to applaud injustice . SANUSI spoke against a foolish actions to be embarked upon by his governor which was going to be economically un-productive. Was he not right?why would some people here castigate him?

Since huge slush votes usually come from Kano, the political maradonas running this country wants to keep Kano by all means and they will rather pardon their kleptomaniac man and rig him in that to tolerate the expression of a fundamental human right of Sanusi . They just want to silent him at all cost and we Nigerians should rise to support him than to start talking gibberish and citing his past sins. The present only matters!

The fate of his father is beckoning on him, history is a very powerful course that should be taught at schools . The Emir should be careful to survive this ordeal if not ,his lineage will be noted for the bad

Traditional Rulers are partisan when it come to politics. They are interested only in what they gain and not what the people want.

Sanusi is my man and I also support his view about Nigeria entirely and about Nigeria economy but he fail to understand that this people brought him to power even when it not his turn because what GEJ have for him then he will not expect it so the quickly make him a first class king that GEJ can not touch so he should just manage the 10 local government

efefemi:
In one of such bold reactions on government plans in April 2017 Sanusi II challenged the Kano state governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje while delivering a keynote address at a function in Kaduna, on the governor’s plan to secure a loan of $1.85b from a Chinese Development Bank that would fund 85% of a Light Rail project to be constructed by a Chinese company CR18G-CRECG. The project was for the construction of a 74 kilometer facility in the state with the intention of reducing traffic on the roads and to ease commercial activities.

Rubbishing the plan, Sanusi II said that the plan to build the Light Rail project was built on a shaky foundation. He said, “we have governors, they go to China and spend one month on a tour and come back with MoU on debts.

“China will lend you $1.8b to build light rail. This light rail will be done by workers from China, the trains will come from China, the engines will come from China, the labor will come from China while the driver is Chinese. “At the end of the day, what do you benefit from them? Your citizens will ride on a train and when you ride on a train in northern Nigeria, in a state like Kano or Katsina, where are you going to? You are not going to industrial estate to work. You are not going to school. You are not going to the farm. You borrow money from China to invest in trains so that your citizens can ride on them to go for weddings and naming ceremonies.”

Re: Sanusi Saved By Dangote From Being Dethroned by Halo22: 5:30pm On May 18, 2019
One problem with Nigerian leaders is that they detest criticism whether constructive or destructive, but they don't know that you make some positive changes via that. How can a Governor go to borrow money to build roads or rail? How do they raise the payback of such loans including the accrued interest? Loans and draft are supposed to be for investment or improvement of an already existing enterprise, in order to make some profits. They just lack business acumen.

You can't try that with the Oba of Benin...Go and ask what befell the former milad of Edo state,
late Commander Anthony Onyearugbulem, when he tried to ridicule the then Oba.
