Why are you not fighting passionately to make it a better country?

Why are you not on the streets protesting and being politically active?

Why are you more passionate in resisting Biafra but lack the same passion in bettering Nigeria?

Why is/are there no Pro- Nigerian Version of "Nnamdi Kanu" who put fear on your corrupt politicians to make the country better?

Why do the same Nigerians that profess their love also look for visa to leave?

These are just few questions out of many I pose to those who love Nigeria or at least claim to.

Hypocrisy is their strongest forte in Nigeria.

Everyone knows the country is headed for doom, so each successive government tries to milk the country as much as they can while paying lip service to fighting corruption and improving the economy...until the inevitable implosion comes.

Yoruba ppl should answer these questions. Their voice and noise wer the he loudest against Nnamdi Kanu.
Everyday, they look for rats, cockroaches and lizards on every Igbo threads to cum on.
And they are very many of them in the UK.

I sailed from Cotonou,Togo,Gabon and Congo not too long, see good roads, see uninterrupted power supply!!!
Yet when the people like Ipob want out, since 'they' don't wanna change, sophisticated Coneheads who pretends to love the kwantiri, will be the loudest to bark....

Why calling on the YORUBA'S, are the igbo's doing anything differently or are the North.
This is a collective problem and it needs to be solved collectively

Nigeria's an establishment and to restructure the establishment, it requires that the elites come together to spell out whatever went wrong and how to correct them. This usually involves revolting by staging a revolution. When the need for a revolution is felt to the marrow, it will come, it will endure and things might improve. For the time being, nothing changes.

Collectively my arsse..you yorubas are the ones playing the ignoble game with the retrogressive backpedaling backward people so you and them should answer the questions.

When you are if the igbos are doing anything different, are you being honest?

How many years are we gonna be calling for True Federalism and restructuring and Resources control and Regionalism? If "they" don't want these cos the current structure on ground, the bloody constitution suits "them",then everyone should think of something else, something drastic like the Igbos.

Naija is a false nation. Naija is the most unworkable,in working country in the world.

The problem is that the current status will back fire. In fact, it’s beginning to backfire. Look at the North, and look at the west.

Those who the current Nigeria was designed to harm are doing better than those who designed it.

Hello dear,
Calling for true federalism and regionalism is the work of the law maker and the YORUBA'S
Do you expect the Yoruba to fight the war for you. There are diplomatic ways to settle issue, it shouldn't be a things of war or name calling.

True but I am talking about the levels of poverty and overall development. A foreigner who has no clue about Nigeria will think the the north and the west are being marginalized when they see the levels of dilapidation. I am not talking of Lagos or Abuja.

In some parts of Nigeria, poverty is most prevalent due to reasons such as economic instability, insurgency and ethnicity. The Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) revealed that 26.6 percent of Nigeria’s over 170 million people are destitute, while 68.0 percent and 84.5 percent of the Nigerian population lived below $1.25 per day and $2 per day.

According to a report by the National Bureau of Statistics, which oversees and publishes statistics in Nigeria, these 10 states are the poorest in the country with over 70 percent poverty rate.

Sokoto

Sokoto state has been rated the poorest state in Nigeria with an 81.2 percent poverty rate. It has harsh climate conditions going as high as 45c on a good day, making it harder for irrigation projects. Yet despite this, it has about 80 percent of its population practising rural agriculture.

Katsina

A state located in North western Nigeria, has the highest poverty rate in the region with 74.5 percent.

Adamawa

In recent times this state has suffered attacks from Boko Haram terrorists. This has in many ways have hindered economic development and contributed to the state’s 74.2 percent poverty rate.

Gombe

Situated within the North eastern region of Nigeria, it has also suffered numerous attacks from the local terror group. It has a 74.2 percent poverty rate.

Jigawa

Jigawa state is situated in the north-western part of the country. It is mostly populated by the Hausa/Fulani, who are spread throughout the state. It has a 74.1 percent poverty rate.

Plateau

Plateau is the twelfth largest state in Nigeria. Its long and rooted history of tribal clashes have hampered the growth of a once promising economic geography. These clashes were often between Fulani herdsmen and it’s inhabitants. It has a 74.1 percent poverty rate.

Ebonyi

This is the only state from the south- eastern region which falls under the top poorest countries, with a 73.6 percent poverty rate.

These are closely followed by Bauchi, Kebbi and Zamfara with 73 percent, 72 percent and 70.8 percent poverty rates respectively.

Niger has been ranked the state with the lowest poverty rate, closely followed by Osun state with 37.9 percent and Ondo 45.7 percent. Bayelsa and Lagos both have less than 50 percent poverty rate, with 47 and 48.6 percent respectively

There are the elites that are sympathetic towards the struggles of the common man, intellectuals for example, who could be the instruments of change. The masses in Nigeria, or anywhere else are blind, largely and therefore, cannot form a resolute force to challenge what is. Most of us toilers, who bear the burnt of bad politicking are ill-equipped with everything and anything at all that can fuel our impassioned thirst for improvement, and can easily be branded enemies of the state by the powers that be, before we even enjoy the audience of others. Politics is never a game of the commoners, selected few that might have paid the price of enlightenment play the tune we all happen to dance to.

Why can't my Gov/ region be allowed to generate power for her own people?!??!!?!

I ain't Igbo, but I can tell you the Nigerian government has got no agenda/plan for the igbo people. It's got no plan/ agenda for the Niger Delta where I come from. You westerners are just being fooled and used like orange peel, sorry.
If we cannot come together and negotiate, discuss fundamentally our being together, then there's only one option left: answer your papa name.

I can see your bitterness towards the YORUBA'S,
But for your information westerners does not contribute lack of infrastructure in Nigeria.

The question are: Why are Yorubas not doing anything worthwhile for a better Nigeria, since they so much love Nigeria? And: Why are Yorubas so much against Ipob who wants out of Nigeria?

Yorubas agreed that Nigeria is not good and favorable to anybody, yet they just want everybody sit down and suffer the consequence. Why can't the Yorubas champion a better solution if they so much hate ipob solution to quagmire?

Even at that, don't you know the number of northern law makers at the Nass compared to the southern lawmakers? Which northern lawmaker is gonna throw his/her weight behind True Federalism/Resource Control/Total Restructuring/Regionalism? Which northern lawmaker is gonna support constitutional overhaul?
We ain't talking about years now but how many decades are we gonna be talking talking talking.....

The northerners are in the majority at the Nass and everywhere and will never be in support....
