Another factor that conduced to sterling's improvement as player is his willingness to learn and his meritorious professionalism.Dearth of these two attributes is the reason why most players fail to actualize their true potentials.

6-0 doesn't mean your team has executed your game plan to perfection, you can win 6-0 against Watford and loose 7-0 next game against Liverpool. sometimes a team winning with fewer goals must have faired better than 6-0 in the eyes of the coach if most of the goals were flukes.

however,you can't compare his 2013/2014 performance with his shambolic performance under pellegrini!

Coaches are different based on their ability to nurture talent! pelegrini saw sterling as the "finished product"..that's why he convinced the owners to part with that huge sum!

However,it was obvious pellegrini never had the right skills to improve sterling...that's why his performance was below par....

Its unwise to use that as parameter to judge sterling!
