I bought a deal posted by Omicpet on behalf of New Orleans Picker (I don't know him)

On April 7th,
I messaged Omicpet concerning the said item. He said it was ready since and he dropped it at our friend's shop but I wasn't informed (that was the period wwu casted)

On April 13th,
Same phone was shipped down to me in Abuja alongside other phones from other shippers.
As usual, all phones were being inspected when I noticed something strange about the iPhone X bought from Omicpet and delivered.
I instantly made a video of the phone. The screen is not working perfectly.

Omicpet did not respond to me until I had his friend talk to him and he responded on April 22nd.
He said he has told the picker about it and he hasn't given feedback on it. That he will need some time.

Phone was returned for Omicpet to pick it as I kept reminding him to give an update.

April 28th Omicpet said picker agreed to pay only part of the screen. Then I asked him who will bear the rest. Then he said 2nd option is for me to hold on until he gets another one for replacement.

Anytime I ask him, he will say no replacement yet. Until he told me the Picker said I should message him which I did on May 8. He told me same thing that I should still have more patience.

On May 10th, I messaged him that he sold a bad phone which I notified Omicpet immediately. So why telling me to have patience and for how long. Ordinarily phone should be replaced instantly or I get a refund.
Then he said this in his own words: "See if YOU CANT HAVE PATIENT NOTHING I CAN DO.."

Since then no word from him, Omicpet and phone is in lag. Today makes it 2months and 4days after I paid 188,000 to Omicpet for the iPhone X. Everyone can calculate what that can generate in 2months.

Everyone is acting nonchalant about it. I messaged Lionlee, maybe he's too busy, he didn't respond. So the only way out is for us to resolve it openly.

And more than 2months of waiting is not a child's play. So I'm surprise someone is preaching patience to me.

It doesn't matter if you didn't intentionally sell him a bad phone, whatvis most important is what you plan to do about the situation. How do you intend to remedy it? What steps have you and are you taking?

Making light of the whole situation and being supported by your goons here is just distasteful

Its unfortunate that this issue ended up here, hopefully all the parties involved would settle it amicably without wasting any more time

NB. We should also endeavour to give deal hunter some benefits of the doubt as they probably won't know the state of a device 100%, as a buyer don't expect a 100% performing device.

There are Many deal device i see here and i can spot some itch, some deal Hunter are use to buying faulty device and fix up here in naija too.

Good for you if you're in Lagos , insist on seeing the device before making payment

Honestly, it's appalling.

You didn't intend to sell a bad phone but you sold a defective phone. The next line of action should be on how to sort the issue out. In this case even the picker should be liable, a faulty screen should be detectable (I think).

My point is, if a picker has erred, focus on the picker. Mentioning deal hunters is a distraction. Besides, deal hunters have had their own fair share of trouble and their case is quite different since they're in Nigeria and relatively reachable.

Is so crazy, after two months yet @don4ye is still preaching "patience" but he has been doing pickup and getting commission and I believed getting paid too if he works over there.

A scenario happened recently whereby a buyer was owing a picker some money and wasn't coming through, I don't think the money was up to a month before we saw some outbursts not to talk of 2months which @temihatz has waited before this. Well, me I can't even wait this long!!!

What if the money was paid by a client of @temihatz? I believe the client won't wait this long before he call police for him or devise any means to get his money.

It's just shameful @don4ye couldn't do a refund instantly or within a month since what he sold was faulty on inspection. Meaning, people's money ain't even safe with him because if he can't take care of this minor issue of his....what will happen if it's a case of missing items.....I guessed it will take a year to do refund.

Please for anyone that is attached to @don4ye, biko you people should tell him to refund @temihatz between now and Friday.....Baba Dan try!!!

To the buyer it s the Deal Hunter

To us it is the picker

From the buyer point of view, na Deal hunter he do business with not the picker.


Sometimes it is easier to Deal with picker directly when they sell a deal to u, dat one story nor dey.

I believe if the buyer has bought directly from the picker this story nor go dey as at today.
