The Abuja Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, at the weekend, arrested ten suspected internet fraudsters.


They were Habib Adeyemi, Lawal Kehinde, Victory Jemibor, Solomon Enuneke, Ubgehi Joshua and Tosan Ogbe. Others are Onajite Ejovwo, Anthony Igbonoeme, Tunde Azeez and Adeyemi Habib.

A statement by the commission said operatives swung into action following intelligence report on their activities.


Some of the items recovered from them were two (2) exotic cars Six (6) laptops, 10 smart phones and 1 international passport.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

One thing about this yoruba boys is that once they hit small amount like N2m, they will begin to make noise and disturb the peace of residents. Instead of keeping a low profile, na so they go contribute money and rent one small bungalow in an estate and contribute to buy one toks Benz which they take turns to drive and that will eventually lead to quarrel and brawls which will make the estate residents to report them!

What EFCC are doing is very commendable. They are cleansing and sanitizing the nation from fraudsters. A good one.. A lot of work still needs to be done. Arresting these young men isn't just enough.. There should be like an amnesty scheme(Jobs) to get these young men involved in something productive. Yahoo is a means these young men stay out of crime, arm robbery. Look at the militants in the south south to get them out of the crime the government introduce amnesty scheme for them, the government are currently offering amnesty to boko haram and herdsmen.
