I think you should be a bit objective with your posts, instead of seeing everything from political point
Being objective means to leave the man alone to either fail or succeed on his own, but we pray for him to succeed. We know all about Abati and the letter writers with their usual distractions and need to trend and seek attention on the internet.

What happened to Ambode? He failed and Lagosians did not raise a finger to save him so, at the end of the day, it is up to Lagosians to decide.

Actually, the Apapa gridlock can be solved in 60 days especially since the truck park has been 93% completed
If that is the case anyone can end the gridlock in 60 days! So there is no need for sanwo-olu to brag about it.

Sanwo Olu might fail
No Lagos state governor in the history, past and in future can perform below ambode.

ofcourse you are wrong, there is nothing wrong for a mod saying his view, especially when he has the fact
It's akin to you saying nothing wrong with a reference supporting one of the team he is supervising .

Anyone is not and cannot be the governor of Lagos state because they don't have the resources, they don't have the manpower and official authority to do so.

Haha! You have no idea who you responded to. He's going to come blow your mind away with outstanding statements that makes no sense and you'll start wondering if he understood your point or he's just like that

I disagree.
The port controller general can end it, the leader of the trailer association(if any) can end it, an ordinary police corporal can end it.

As long as the parking lot is there, anyone can end it!!

Sounds too simplistic, I just wonder why the controller and the police corporal haven't stopped it after decades of headache, gridlock, loss of money, wasted time and manpower.

Ending the gridlock is more than just parking lot.

I know. He gave me a years ban for no reason. We don't like each other does not mean I can't tell him some truths.

A mod is not the owner of nairaland, they are like everybody on nairaland, even the owner has the right to air his view as a Nigerian. We get things mixed up too much easily in this country. Mod is to make sure all stated rules of nairaland are maintained

Even till the last elections, I doubt the credibility of sanwo olu's performance if he eventually becomes the governor.

The guy does not look composed enough for the job.
Mytotstho#
It is ambode that went clubbing at quilox after swearing in that looks composed.

U should be doubt Ruben credibility instead of all people a man who went to also rock and forgot himself and what he stands for and defended everything he ever stood against. Ruben was the biggest disappointment on Jonathan’s govt. He shud not be taken seriously until he has shown genuine repentance.

Politicians are very aware of how Nigerians reason. They know that a sound and good advice is treated with levity either by religion, ethnicity or regional base. We seemed to care much about who is giving the advice rather than the value of the advice.

Ending gridlock is more than a parking lot and even the parking lot is a temporary or bandaid solution because they still can not solve the congestion problem at the ports or prevent hundreds of trailers converging in that general vicinity, even getting in and out of the parking lot is going to be a different nightmare.

Sanwo-olu made that bogus claim because of the parking lot, mynd confirmed it. And I said if that was the case(new parking lot), anyone can indeed end the gridlock. No need for the gov elect bragging about it.

The process or nitty gritty of ending it is none of my concern. 6 month period end of gridlock is what we are arguing about.
Re: Reuben Abati Advises Sanwo-Olu Against Making ‘Empty’ Promises by barinedan(m): 7:38am On May 22, 2019
Sanwo Olu needs someone to remind him that campaigns and elections are over so he should stop making further promises and think of how to fulfil the ones he made already. Any other promises should wait till the next election if only he would not be given the Ambode treatment

In November, the governor-elect said he had consulted experts as part of his plan to rid the gridlock on major roads, within six months.

That's only an assumption not reality. You should have also stated that Lagos traffic situation should have been a thing of the past since the Lagos Light rail project is at an advance state, but what do we have. It's easier said than done

I don't understand why he is still making promises. After all, he has won the election. Let him keep quite and fulfill what he promised. He can now do more than he promised to earn his people's respect rather than promising and failing.

Abati used to be very credible but he messed his reputation up.
Typical of hypocrites, you left the message he's trying to pass across and went for his personality. Is there no truth in what he said about the governors-electhuh

You can rant all you want, it doesn't change your hypocritical nature which i just pointed out. A Nigerian who lives and does business in lagos gave a good advice to his Governor-elect notwithstanding affiliations. And your first instinct was character assassination.
