Is anyone intending to sent documents to uni-assist tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday? My location is Lagos. Pls DM me so we can send together. I really need a response fast.
Bloodeagle:

See I don't see reason why people are still sticking with DHL even with their outrageous charges when we have the types UPS, TNT and Aramex, which are way more cheaper and also fast.

Just last week we sent 3sets of documents to the same school through Aramex and It got there in two working days. We were charged 13k or thereabouts. This would have cost us at least 22k or more with DHL.

You see, those sending documents to uniassist, if you are like five, each person will pay highest 3k(with Aramex)

It's time to give DHL a break, they relying on their popularity and reputation to extort people.

Why not use Federal High Court so as to meet up with the deadline. 2 sets of (7 documents each) is just #350 here in Abeokuta.

Or did the school you are applying to make it compulsory to use Embassy certification

Not at all..is not compulsory and I am in Lagos..

just my small advice. If you are planning to remain in DE after graduating, before leaving Nigeria for any course of study especially for those going for masters, make your research and ask a lot of questions aboutthe market value of that course as regards getting a job in DE. I just got off the phone with a friend who is lamenting badly that he was not informed before he left, he would not have taken that course. No hope of job, just struggling. Guys that met him in DE, some got jobs even before graduating while still doing their thesis.

The attack is very very wrong cos his advice is very helpful. Do you really know his schedule for not have reply so quickly? I think courtesy matters and not just the blunt attack.
What he said is absolutely correct. If you can deduce from most conversations and questions on this trend, you will discover that about 30-40% do not have a clear vision or purpose for studying in DE( their career prospect). They are more of the quest for seeking a greener pasture and with the mindset of going to Europe to study in a programme close to their previous studies and make it
The point that young man made should be one of the basic comtempletion of every one. 98% of those applying will never plan of coming back upon graduation. If thats true dont you think his advice is good? Am not saying him not sheilding more light on it is good. But there are better approach/patience than the attack.

We are all one family with the goal of achieving our target soon. Please lets control our emotions and show that brotherly love to each other. wheather in annoying question, comments etc
God's love will continually keep us all together

After a careful interaction with me, he was able to tell me that
When there are vacancies, the first to consider are the core natives of the location of the company e.g state, region. The next will be any student with distinction. the next will be other citizens of the country. After that other EU member country, after that some special country they may have bilateral agreement with, before other foreigners. The question will now be how many opportunity are availbale?

He also said there are specicific professions that most of their citizens dont venture into and these are areas where one can easily get job because its less competative. Thats why some countries lack skilled workers in some areas e.g Canada, Australia etc and are looking for foreigners to compliment

Do you know that some states in Germany(Germany) have shortage of some skills workers Infact this is one of the reasons the window is open with tuition free studies in order to breach the gap

pls me I need suggestions o...I know about daad and I explore it, if you have other means ,kindly help out

Try using Google, and try to be specific about what you want
That's because some schools are not hosted on daad.de website like my first choice course is not on daad even after searching tirelessly till I tried other options
For example
(MSc agricultural and bioresource engineering + Germany + scholarship/tuition free)
You will see schools doing something related to it and also in English language

I hope it helps

I didn't have strength to reply your "correction" of my post but I see u actually mean well, so am gonna tell u this
I don't have any problem with anyone here but I hate anything selfishness in this kind of our situation.
I don't want to speak much English, so try and reason with me. grin
That guy post is correct but I said stale because I assume many of us here already know of Stem etc etc, the heart of the information we wanted to get, he intentionally withheld
After his post, I watched his activity before commenting, so that d tantrums won't be unnecessary :Dand I confirmed my presumption of him, you see that question everyone is asking, he knows it will arouse interest but won't give details, that I abhor in this our situation here
He proved me right by asking questions on a matter that came after his post, whereas Fabcol had quoted him before that, I still noticed he was coming online and available here even 2 hours after
That attitude is not a good one, don't keep people hanging or in suspense, nothing much in chipping "my guy studying so so said to me", that settles it and the info would have been a complete one with examples
People do more than that here and we all benefit from it,
This analogy just came to my mind, Dukeokafor (had to cram his name etc) broadcasted the info about the option of paying for Uni-assist with Nigeria ATM cards, He knew Just smh many will still be aloof on the process, he did a pictorial guidance of the process on page 257 or so, I hold him in high esteem for that, that's giving complete information
Not telling me there is job in Berlin, there's Job and I come to Berlin, u can't even afford to give me heads up on the process, knowing fully well I don't understand her process as am a newbie
So friend, I appreciate your correction and your quality Infos, u see how u dished out those stem degrees there na, ụ have armed someone here on kind of courses to go for and not telling them, some programs are not marketable and u are asked examples that you have gotten from ur friend, u hide that one.
If we want to do good, let's do it fully with our hearts to get the complete reward.
U see my comment to him, sorry I still stand on it except...

Just a little talk, now see how big I have typed, NL sef

Hello for someone with a 2.7 gp on the german scale and ihas a bsc in physics what schools could one get into Germany. Have been searching but seen only one or two want to know if anyone here know anymore. Still searching for more though.
Also can one switch to another field like IT and software development cos I want to delve into there if possible.dont know if I can cope with the rigors of physics after a hellish bsc here. Some of the requirements am seeing here seems to make it hard to switch. It seems the germans are not that flexible like that.
Thanks
