The outgoing minister of transportation and the outgoing governor of Oyo State, Rotimi Amaechi and Gov. Ajimobi today inspected the Oyo site of the Lagos-Ibadan Railway line today.

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Honorable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and Executive Secretary/CEO Nigeria Shippers Council, Hassan Bello were in Ibadan for the inspection of Lagos-Ibadan Railway, shortly after the Handover Ceremony of the Ibadan Inland Dry port (IIDP) at Oyo State Governor’s office, Ibadan.

Even though Ameachi is a controversial person, his performance as a minister as been overwhelming, performed far better than many ministers and even some governors.

Na so so inspection every time, I can't deny the fact that this government is doing well in this sector

No railway has passed to Portharcut just because of his fuse with wike.
If you like construct railway to all the northern states and western States, they will never love or trust you.

SW is developing at a very fast rate, by the time Buhari is done with SW the gap between SW and other region, in term of development, infrastructure, standard of living etc, will be like America and Somalia.

I don't understand this Buhari, Instead of making Ameachi Minister for Power or Energy him go carry that Afonja Fashola keep in charge of Power.
I have said it before, pls this next cabinet where you wan form, make Ameachi Minister for Power.

And some wonder why yorubas back buhari, they forget it isn't about their petty sentiments. Yes buhari is incompetent in the area of security but in area of infrastructure its obvious theyre doing the little they can unlike the otuoke man who could even do one infrastructural project in the entire southwest or the man in Ota who could finish Lagos ibadan expressway for 8 years. If Jonathan and obasanjo did half of what this administration is doing in infrastructure we wouldnt be in this mess today.

I went from Kaduna to Abuja by train sometime ago and for the first time in recent years was happy with a ministry of the federal government. The train was neat, conducive, fast enough, quiet, organized, safe and cheap. Expatriates, women, children, the rich and all classes of nationalities were onboard.

Now he is being hailed by Nigerians, would it be fair to ask what road amaechi built in Ubima or rivers state just as Jonathan was mocked for not building road to Otuoke.

Even fools must learn......
