The African community in Finland converged at  Mikael Agricola Church in Helsinki on Saturday May 25th for the Priestly ordination of Eze Charles Nwoko who hails from Mbaise in Imo State, Nigeria. This is the first time in the history of Finland for a Nigerian to get to such ministerial echelon.



The ordination service attracted high calibres of the Catholic faithfuls in the whole of Scandinavia and it was performed by His Lordship, Bishop Teemu Sippo the Catholic Bishop of Helsinki.


Rev.fr Eze Charles Nwoko grew up in Finland and went to seminary school in Italy. He speaks English, Finnish and Italian fluently. His father Dr Charles Nwoko has lived in Finland for more than 30 years and he is the only inventor from Nigeria and he is well respected within the African community.
