Well, the truth is that millage to me doesn't matter because a car that has 70k millage in city is even worst than a car that has 180k millage in freeway ! The more you hit a car in freeway the better

Benz has shown that even if it's above 150k millage it performance isn't affected because the engine is military grade and the quality of metals are great. ....that I know

I have Japanese ( Nissan American spec also ) so I have checked and I have seen differences. Well it depends on over hyped because the last time I checked the cars most VIP and presidents even your president uses are Benz...maybe you are more smarter than these tons of people and the world that acknowledged Benz!

It's one of the finest engines ever made not the best though...we have Aston Martin, Rolls Royce , Range etc but bringing Japanese to this talk is like comparing an agama lizard with a crocodile

Both are reptiles agreed but they don't have the same capacity please it's a Benz thread ...once again sir

There are serious reliability issues with the newer Mercedes Benz marques..... Some that you'll never expect to find in a company with the reputation of Mercedes Benz.

That being said I am unrepentantly Benz addicted..few compares with the Benz in the overall drive comfortability

2008 Camry will save you money on the long run. But Toyotas are not Benz the feeling inside the car is different from all other cars. If you drive a Benz and after a Camry you will see the Camry is kind of inferior in more ways than 1. But you need to have lots of extra cash to keep MB. The car is expensive to keep. I know ...when you place the years by other brands ! Do you know that 2003 Camry is about 140k engine only but that is the amount you would use to buy Benz same year engine and gear box ...why? Because the engine rarely dies ! The same thing with gear box

C class Kompressor 2000 engine is the even up to 100k can you imagine with all the features and functions

You just dey run mouth. Benz engines cheap? The only cheap Benz engines are the M111 and M112, lmao. M113, too. Do you see a pattern? Those are modular engines that were overbuilt and durable, leading to low demand.

Go price M271, M272, M273, M276, M156 etc, make dem call price for you. I really wonder where some of you get your information from.

He's not wrong. MB is basically a sub-premium luxury marque, traditionally not even ahead of Jaguar. In terms of brand prestige, it's behind quite a number of marques. RR, Bentley, Maserati, Aston, etc. That's not including sports brands like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren.

I used a 4 cylinders 2003 highlander for 4 years I didn't open it's engine before I sold it. The only thing I replaced in that highlander was brake caliper and bumper. Apart from normal oil and brake pads and tyres. And No it didnt smoke anything I never opened it's engine .
Currently, my RX330 is 5years 4months 3weeks old (5th January 2014 purchase date) I haven't opened it's engine, it still purrs very sweet and it's still smooth and silent. Only servicing I've done all these while apart from recent shock change when I travelled at night and hit a dlarge pothole after being blinded by a truck lights.


Tell me the perfect meaning of reliability and low cost maintenance and longevity, I'd show you a Toyota and a Lexus. I need no other proof.
