Most apps works perfectly from Kitkat OS. No much difference in performance upgrading to higher OS

battery capacity matters, camera then ram size... You can check out the Tecno spark 3 series.. It's within your budget

truly nice features,budget and battery capacity being very important because of lack of constant power supply, thats why devices like the pouvoir 3 are a mandatory buy cos that 5000 mah battery on it will really come in handy.
