Olusegun Obasanjo, former president, has reportedly escaped death on Wednesday.

This information is coming from Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of Aviation.

Mr Obasanjo was said to have boarded an Ethiopian airline when he escaped death.

“I just confirmed that an Ethiopian Airline plane in which our father and leader Pres. Obasanjo was flying ALMOST crashed,” the former minister tweeted on Wednesday.

Thank God that nothing happened to baba. Many of his supporters would have been forever pointing accusing fingers at Buhari.

My prayer is that Obasanjo will live long to see Buhari's Next Level. Amen

We warned him but he wont listen. He was busy shouting over my dead body will Buhari become Nigeria president again. Now the inauguration is not fully over and death is calling him to fulfill his promise. Thank God for grace which was made available because of those other people in the same plane with him
