Keep quiet. I've been watching the la liga for almost 2 decades and I know what I'm saying. Xavi rose to fane because of guardiolas possession football. Xavi was not a starter under rijkaard. He was on the bench watching the likes of Deco, marquez etc

Those midfielders were old. Some left and retired in rijkaards last season. How old was edmilson, van bommel, marquez? They were in their 30's and left before/when guardiola came.... Xavi was a substitute from his teenage years till 26/27....

De la Pena was not a contemporary of Xavi. While De la Pena was playing his last season in Barca in 98, Xavi was playing his first season in the same club at 18. And no, De la Pena was not better than Xavi.
