Don't make that mistake. Never ever assume, "think", "thought", or guess what the market will or will not do. Market does not respect your optimism. Don't attach emotions to any trades. Know what you are doing and be sure you are at worst safely in the direction of the trend. Dont expect the market to return to you because it might not.

Eurusd bulishness on Monday and Tuesday like you earlier mentioned doesn't mean the bull has taken over. It might just be a temporary consolidation where the market makers see as an opportunity to find a good position for a further downtrend. Also eu pis currently at 1.1135 while the HH for the month is around 1.1270. Be guided.

Doesn't add up, if you don't use LTF for trend, should I assume you use HTF?
If you use HTF, why would you close AU for -20pips ? If you use HTF , no way your indicator will bend and show you reversal with just -20pips against you.

Maybe I'm missing something.

Thus setting up a beautiful sell off back into range. So basically fake break out and back down into range. Very close to doing AB=CD

Trust me , if it breaks that high today or tomorrow , it's definitely coming down into range, you can take that to the bank.

Buying is trading against the trend. That is not smart move. EU is on a downtrend except you want to trade the news (forexfactory), but technically buying is not a good idea at least not now, not until eu is on uptrend. That is just my opinion. I may be wrong though.

Forex can be taken as a full time job but hold on a minute. Forex is not as easy as that. This may take you years like 1 to 5 or even 15 years. Being profitable consistently in forex is achievable with consistent and persistent learning, demoing and trading

Keep learning. Many YouTube videos, materials, offline and online live sessions and all sorts of information online which eventually helps you build a strategy that is suitable and tailored to your personality. Get a real job that pays and make you money while you learn forex .

Yes but not easy.

Do you know, 95% of posters on this thread are not profitable traders? Yes, don't believe everything you see online hook line and sinker. Not being profitable is not a bad thing though but you've to work smart, not just hard. A lot of the profitable ones rarely post here anymore.

I wasted a lot of years learning ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH and trash, some I'm still try to unlearn. The fastest way to becoming a profitable trader is not going to youtube or some forex forum, it's finding someone that is profitable, that is willing to help you, to help you shorten your learning curve.

Going to youtube and forum will make you go through wasted years like so many of us did, and a lot of us are still not profitable till tomorrow .

Especially someone like JerryQ, if you can get him to dedicate his time and teach you, I tell you, you would've shorten your learning curve by 5-7 years. The problem is, they've got no incentive to teach you, so i don't know how you will go about it.

If and when I'm ready personally, I can get someone profitable within a year, if they put in the work. As you wouldn't have to learn rubbish and waste years to get the right info.

Ps: Please , I'm not asking you to go give anyone on here your money.

Thanks to all the bosses in the house for helping we the newbies out in the little way you can. I started learning on babypips about two months ago, I have completed babypips school (yes, I was that patient and I studied hard), I headed to forexfactory where I started trying out some systems under 'trading systems section', I have now found one which involves using just Fibonacci and the Stochastic Oscillator and I have been demo trading this system for days now and I must say it looks really good. Right from my days on babypips, I have always loved the Fibonacci Retracements so you can imagine my excitement when I found this system.

I know I don't know anything yet but I'm fully determined to learn. I pledge not to go live until I have an outstanding level of confidence and profitability with my demo practice. I know and accept that trades won't always go my way hence there are bound to be losses. I plan to minimise these losses through proper money management and risk to ratio setups. I won't be greedy, I will be patient always, and I will learn to look at the bigger picture.

I have tried really. I know I have. It's not easy to learn forex from scratch without an expert holding your hands. Prior to the 2 months I got committed to learning it, I would always come to this thread and read about Bulls, Bears, etc, and I would get very angry that I didn't know anything at all about any of the things being said. Look where I am now. I hope to be as meticulous as Currentprice, as confident as Tunderr (my personal favourite, I actually went through all her nairaland posts and most of them are on Forex),and to help newbies with the little I know just as Pinbar helped me understand Priceaction.

I'm ever loyal to everyone. And I will ask questions from time to time, most of which will be stupid, but please those who know should take out their time to help anyway they can. If you're in Nigeria and you're not tired of going to bed each day on an empty belly, then there's something seriously wrong with you. There's my pitch. Happy pipping everyone.
