Mehn ....
After watching yesterday's game, I was really pissed mehn(who wouldn't btw) .
We'll, in as much, Auba this Auba that, I'll really rate him as my flop of the season. He made us miss out on top 4 (emery partly included too) and cost us the Europa too. How can you miss an empty net in a final in the 1st 20min of the match?. This guy have never pleased me even with his highest goalscorer award(which we all know he should have outrightly won). He misses way too much chance for a striker. Haba
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 9:33am On May 30, 2019
Kolasinac should just bleep off too. Like you have all the whole time and space in the world in good 45m but you could not lay a good pass or cross to your teammates. So mediocre for a player.
Ozil should just sleep in China. Willock tried in few mins he was in than ozil's duration.Emery should look at iwobi at no 10 role. I believe he'll bring much more than ozil next season.
Might be hard to get a proper winger now with the look of things now!
Well, I dunno how I can look fwd to next season again. The future looks bleak to be honest. Can't be watching another Europa again. Seems we need to promote from the youth and buy a few good experienced players since it will be certain our transfer fund will be low and we can't have that appeal to get the right talents, I think we should look towards it. Also the scouts should look at bringing in an unknown but great winger na..haba. Can't we unearth gem again?

..... It's inevitable, one of those useless strikers must and will go this summer. We need funds badly because even if we manage to sell ten players, getting 50m for them will be a miracle. Arsenal is filled with useless and worthless players from defense to midfield. Those strikers are our only assets and we must sell to compete for top four next season.

...Ozil is done. The day I see him in the first team again at Arsenal that's if he doesn't get dumped out of the club this summer will be the day I will stop watching Arsenal. I will simply move to another club. I can't stand that man anymore. Thank God, people are finally seeing the fraud that he is. Dude will play nonsense and then send Jerseys to kids in Africa to cover the fact that he is now a leach feeding Arsenal dry. Send him to the reserves should he refuse to leave, perhaps destroying what's left of his dignity will set his head straight.

....The other day, Anthony on Brilla said that Niles is not a player that should even be on the bench for Arsenal and I argued with him but yesterday he showed his true quality. I am ashamed of this team because even if most of the players are championship qualities, can't they fight? Why can't the captain walk up to Niles after his first mistake leading to goal and speak some encouraging words to him? The guy will just be looking like a dunch instead of encouraging the team.

..... Emery is right; we need fighters and everything must be done to get him players that will die on the pitch for the jersey. for the badge. for the fans, and not some sissies who were dominated by Christensen of all people. I see big changes coming and since Emery is on his second and last contract, he will be desperate. Heads will roll and egos will be crushed. No manager can survive with a team without a midfield or defense. No single ball recycler in midfield and not one winger who can take people on. Zaha or Ziyech should be top priority for us this summer. I don't want any Alexis Maurice here, we need proven players.

.... I still can't believe I left Liverpool all those years ago to come support a club filled with sissies but no wahala, e go better. Fhalifa was right, Tottenham are a better run club than us presently. They would have done much better than we did yesterday.

Benitez, Simeone and sadly Mourinho are the only people that can take Arsenal to any level right now...

Chill bro.Klopp lost a Europa final and finished 8th in the league, in his first season with Liverpool.
Give Emery a chance, one more season will not be bad.
We can't get Mourinho or Simeone. They will demand at least a 200m transfer budget to overhaul this team.

Emery will have to get ruthless though. Starting Cech and Ozil yesterday was a cowardly decision, I expected better from him.
He has to put his foot down and demand for a complete clear out of Ozil, Mikitaryan, Kolasinac and co. We mustn't replace them with expensive players. There must be bargain buys there we can get, as well as offer our youths more trust and chance.

Someone noticed Willock did more in few minutes he was on than Ozil did all 70mins he was on. Trust the youth more, they can't do any worst than our current aging and poor first team players.

.... Emery is the what nowhuh..... Bro, we have the lowest quality players in the top 6 and the worst midfield in the top 13 in the league. We shipped 51 goals even with defensive signings. Arsenal has been falling for years now but it's all just coming out in the open now.

....Benitez and Simeone do not play the arsenal way, you don't pick managers anyhow. You pick managers according to the DNA of a club which is why Liverpool went after Klopp after sacking another attack minded coach in Rodgers. Personally, I wanted Klopp but Arsenal decided to stick with what was dead and let that opportunity pass them by.

... Emery has his blame but for me, this is the worst crop of players he has ever assembled in a top team before and he still did well in his first season. No coach can do anything with these players and until we rid the club of them which will take at least four transfer windows, we are going nowhere.

.....Get Emery his desired players and judge him after that, not based on another manager's players. I am in support of him and I am really eager to see what he will achieve next season. He did well in fighting for top four and reaching the UEL final, let's see what he accomplishes next season. It's too early to say he is the problem of the team, too early friend.

....Bro, if he had started Iwobi in place of Ozil and we get trashed, fans and pundits alike would have murdered Emery. I am glad he started the ghost yesterday and everyone got to witness his absymal play and equal attitude yesterday when he took all the time in the world to come off the pitch despite the fact that his team was behind. I am happy the Arsenal management team, Raul and co. saw this live and the overall display of the team. Surely, even without Emery saying anything, they already know the players to sell.

....We have been linked with so many South American players lately and one failed bid at Alexis Maurice from Lorient, whom I am not excited about but it shows the board is trying to get the players we lack such a winger/AM in Maurice's case.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by solomonbrown64: 5:08pm On May 30, 2019
.......We are still linked with Rabiot and why I don't like him, we badly need someone with his abilities; someone who can hold the ball under pressure and recycle possession intelligently. We don't have any in the team, closest to that in our team presently is Guendouzi and he is still learning the trade. Since Rabiot is free, it will give us room to spend on other areas especially the defense. We need a left back and a Centre back badly. Kosc might not be getting an extension and Mustafi might be sold.

....I don't see Chambers getting sold and should we get Maurice, Nelson will surely get game time. One of Mhki and Ozil will leave if not both and also, one of the strikers will leave too. I don't see any of them not playing in the champions League for another year.

Actually, you're spot on. It wasn't Emery's fault that auba missed two empty nets, nor kolasinac not capitalizing on the space that was afforded him a whole 30mins. Or lacazette missing one on one with the keeper. I'll spare willock for his miss tho, cos it would have been fruitless at that stage for any sort of comeback(except na miracle). So when your players have all the chances to win or equaliser, I barely blame the coach for that. Granted, he cost us our top 4, but in terms of final ystdy, I believe it's our attackers and Niles with kolasinac. Auba missed two glaring chances and caused the 4th goal. Niles cost two goals while kolasinac was simply bitter kola. I believe we should give youth a chance. Blend nketiah, smith and willock with the first team and I believe they'll do better. We shouldn't always be buying, buying, buying when we have decent youth players who just need that exposure. Look at Sancho, now people will be begging to have him. Mbappe too. We should bring from within and blend with the senior teams. Then add one or two experienced good signings. Ozil no suppose dey arsenal wen smith, willock and iwobi can effectively be justling that position. Seriously, we need to be ruthless and sign unknown great talents. See Robertson of Liverpool, that's a steal at this present generation. We should be looking at that too. Not just any popup names, we'll start buying. We should start mixing experience with youths.

Forget those guys you called. Stan will never call them because of their wages. You guys should not let Arsenal disturb you at all. Unless you started supporting the club in the last 2-4yrs, you should be used to their nonsense already.

The club is not ready for anything. I blame the UK fans who keep lining Stan's pocket with £££. They are not ready yet. A owner who has not dropped a penny since he entered the club. How can I be more passionate of something than the owner? Am I not doing myself? cheesy grin Roman Ab show face y.day, but Stan was chilling in America with big booty hoes cheesy grin thunder will fire that guy.

Unless we buy extremely talented rare gems in the next two-three transfer windows, forget it. Arsenal will soon go the way of most fallen gaints.

The board and Stan are probably banking on the blind loyalty of most fans, but they are forgetting that humans have a breaking point. And, most Arsenal fans have gotten to that point. Small, small, you'll see fans porting to teams like city, Liverpool and Barca.

If it's not foolishness, I wonder how a fan will pay the highest season ticket to watch a Europa League team.

I can't come and kill myself on millionaires. If they like, they should win or not, it's their business.

.... Exactly, I love this write up. Imagine Iwobi in Kolasinac's space yesterday, peak Sanchez or Zaha or a decent dribbler with a good shot on him. We would have buried that match. We played well in the first half but Sarri urged his midfield to increase the tempo of the match and our slow midfield couldn't keep up. Torreira was gasping for breath like he wanted to die which shows how unfit our players are. Which is why Emery mentioned that we need stronger and more Athletic players.

.... Right now, the board is setting up a model/ philosophy with the imminent appointment of Edu as football director so that in case Emery gets sacked tomorrow and another manager's comes in, he will continue with the model of the club and not the other way round. Wenger's role is no longer available in the club anymore, power is now being shared and so there's immense pressure on the manager to deliver.

...Bro, our academy hasn't produced enough quality in the years since Wilshere. Willock and maybe Nelson are the only ones worth talking about. Saka and Amaechi are not ready. I just want to see the pressing and swift movement of the ball common with Emery's team next season. We played like that early last season but we couldn't continue as we didn't have the players to properly execute it. One thing I am glad about all this is that we now have a new direction with this new board. Coach may come and go, but the model will stand just like Dortmund.

The moment I saw Chelsea in the finals, I began to fear, an average English team knows how to beat Arsenal when it gets to big stage..
.Rough them up,run at them with blistering pace, score them first and we are sure to capitulate...

Valencia and Napoli allowed us space to do our thing, but English team? Even Wolves will beat us yesterday, we'll struggle to beat Bright..

The reason is not farfetched, we parade lazy, immobile, soft and weak players..

Tell me if Tottenham's midfield and defense will allow pedro, hazard, william, giroud and kovacic bully and run pass them easily?

Tell me if spurs will capitulate after that giroud's goal? I knew it was over after the first goal, we lacked the mental fitness and quality personel as found in spurs and Liverpool to give me hope we can turn things around..

Not even pep or klopp will coach this bunch to success..

Chelsea weren't spectacular, they were just stronger, mobile and faster than us in all areas...

I kept saying I'm tired of seeing all this gbegiri sexy boys, we need rugged men,but many are swayed away by the fine faces sweet goals and the sakamanje they see once a while.

I was never confident with this lads doing it, I just prayed we do it even if e be fluke.

I'm happy many have come to see the problems of this club.

If they like, they should win or not, it's their business.
....Lol... hilarious. You guys keep saying this thing that Kroenke don't put in money and all that but how much has Liverpool owners put in the clubhuh Bro, check how much we have spent the last five to six years and ask yourself if it isn't enough to build a quality team. Kroenke isn't involved in the day to day activities of the club and employed people for that role. But what did those in power do with our money and how did they raise money too?

.... Liverpool sell players for good prices and reinvest because they have a working board and a philosophy which Klopp is following. The board buy players and they have a wonderful scout system but ours is nothing to write home about. Wenger had too much power and wouldn't sell his players unless the ones he didn't like or when the club really needed to raise money. If we had made better decisions with both sales of players and buying and also with team management, I assure you we would have won at least two league titles in the last seven years.

....The new board know this and are trying really hard to overturn the mess of the previous board. It will take time but at least we have a direction now. Liverpool had a plan and stuck with it, we had a failing system but instead of restarting we decided to continue and now, look at where we are today. I just wanted to correct this notion that Kroenke doesn't spend, not his fan at all but that isn't the problem of the team.
