A lot about this form A stuff as been discussed and concluded in the previous parts of this thread, form A is for school, medical and some few purposes,... It's another thing to make inquiries of the exchange rate at the bank but the truth is once your ready to make the transfer, the bank won't proceed with it as BA is not for school fees but for your upkeep while residing in DE...

So best option is to go with the aboki option.
this form A matter I know wan talk about am but since una wan hear you can't use it to fund your BA except you are paying direct to the school account at best them go lie for you and charge you at rate you will regret you use them check previous chat of people that have use it
The best bet is
1. Use don account transfer
2. If you have friends or relatives you can trust in Germany let them fund for you while you pay them in naira it's called blue market
Hope this helps

You have a very nice CGPA, it must have been really competitive and I studied Biochemistry. I just thought with my G.p and it being an open admission, it would be a sure thing. But Oh well. I already got admission in Uni of Koblenz-Landau, environmental science. I had my visa interview today.

Bros did you pay the uni assit money for this your admission or the school paid?

at what rate was the euro from aboki

Euro was N404 then.

Even at that, GTB said there was CBN restriction of €1,000 cash deposit per week into an Euro-denominated account. So, direct funding of the Euro account using Aboki's cash deposit was not practical. It would take 9 weeks to fund €8829. Crazy!

A way around it was to open a dollar account, buy dollar from Aboki ($1=N360) and fund the dollar account. Dollar-denominated account can accept $10,000.00 per day.

FX conversion and transfer was then made from a dollar account to Euro account - no restrictions. Then the bank charges you their transaction fees of about 23k with GTB. You can instruct them in the form to deduct the charges from your Naira account so that your Euro amount is intact.

From your Euro account, it then flies out smoothly to Fintiba or whatever BA operator you choose. With Fintiba, you get notified within 24 hours that your Euro has landed.

You can also pay directly from your dollar account to your euro fintiba account. The bank will apply a dollar/euro cross rate. If that helps.

I have a dollar Domiciliary account but recently I was thinking if I could get a Euro account since I will be paying in Euro to avoid any conversion charges

Pls. What do you advise.
Should I stick to my dollar account or I should get a Euro account.

I wasn't required to submit proof of English proficiency. I exchanged mails with the course coordinator prior to application and he made me understand that since I am a Nigerian, I don't need to prove English proficiency whether by letter or English test

Today is 29 right!
Enrolment done expire be that hoo.
After waiting for one month the embassy sent me an email stating.
Submit the following documents within the next 20day
Your passport
Block account confirmation
Health insurance of three month, starting from the date of submission.
An extension letter again stating you can still enrol after 29 of May.
And intended date.
#men I mad when I see these email.
Were do I start from, after waiting and been patient..
I remembered that God started these journey with me and he will end it with me.
*please who ever say prayer no dey work nah lie and what ever you are doing especially these kind of thing, put God in charge and I bet you, were other find it difficult it will turn to your favour#
