This Memo was circulated amongst staffs of Dangote Fertilizer Limited to take effect from Monday 3rd June onwards.
My friend who works there told me the previous timing was 8-6pm, Mondays to Saturdays, with no time off and no OT, and now they have moved to the NEXT LEVEL.

Kudos to INDIAN SLAVE MASTER, Raghav.

But this is disheartening for our own country.

Why.,....Dangote is a serious entrepreneur I don't think they is any case Dangote is owing is workers

That is why civilised countries practise "shift". There is nothing wrong when production/services runs all day long as long as it is different sets of workers for different shifts. It becomes evil when one set of workers work from morning till night.

Why not resign if you are not satisfied?

Well, if you'll do ur research well u will find out. It's easier to say what u say but reality is what u should seek.
Mind you though, baba olowo might not b aware of these 'minor minor issues'

Apart from the issue of increasing their salary, normal working hours is supposed 8 hours per day. If they want the project to be completed on time, they should employ more people na. Alot of Graduates are looking for job. They have enough money to pay then

There is nothing wrong with this. The employer reserves the right to determine staff working hours. They can even make it 23hrs per day, 7 days a week.


No-one is been forced here. Anyone that isn't happy with it is free to resign.

Keeping mute would have been the best option for you instead of showing your ill manner of reasoning. How do you expect people to work for 12 hours and expect good result?


By the way, you're ignorant of the rulings of Nigeria Labour Law, read it or at least get someone to explain its rulings to you and stop spreading this your evil thoughts.

But really does our Labour law states 8 hours? Even police don't do that until recently changed. It is what the project demanded just to meet up with deliverables

How much do they pay...let's see if it's worth the time and stress they demand from their workers.

I see alot of people saying it's slavery but for a person like me, I will say it's better having an 8am to 8pm job than staying at home being an unemployed graduate...

I believe this elongation of the working time frame will definitely come with added wages
