Not a good day for Anthony Joshua. A bit embarrassing yeah. However, we shouldn't make far reaching claims about his general star/shine being over or his skill as a boxer. All the greats lose at some point.

Let's throw that TMT narrative in the bin for a minute. You do not need a 0 loss record to reach boxing greatness. And c'mon it's heavyweight afterall. Not the most technical weight class to start with, fighters are genrally not too technical; ie quick on the feet, well gauged punchers(post swing leans etc). AJ ideally should win the rematch and still face Wilder at some point.

If you want proper purist boxing then try not to miss anything with CANELO on the bill.

I think he was under pressure to do to Ruiz what Wilder did to Brezeale. Its really sad, but very gracious in defeat.

Joshua's records are not padded. He gets at a title every year for the past few years. He has fought some if the best in the industry. He currently holds the highest number of titles. He is neck and shoulder above every other fighter right now. That wide-mouth nigga, Wilder, is there romancing one title or so.

Granted this is a shocker, but AJ's response to this will show if he truly has the grit and never give up attitude of a real champion. Better luck to him next time. He was fighting a shorter boxer with devastating power. Game plan should av changed after the 3rd but lessons learned, I think.
