That's sad... The police in Kogi should get in contact with the Lagos police command to trace the victims family. After all, the address is the identification card. This is more reasons to ensure you have a proof of identity at all times. May we not experience such fate. |

This is EXTREMELY WRONG and almost a case of wickedness. The vehicle originated from a place, heading to the next. A manifest is filled at the park, and a copy is kept in the vehicle containing details of the pax and next of kin. You have the pax IDs and phones. WHY IN HEAVENS NAME WILL YOU POST THEIR PHOTOS ONLINE WHEN THEY ARE MOST VULNERABLE. In the guise of looking for their family or people to identify them. Anything for Social Media Fame. No first aid. I've said this everytime, there should be high way patrol checking the speed level of every driver, most accidents could be averted if the drivers wont want to get to a 1hr destination in 20minutes |

This again has nothing to do with the “God help us” mentality. Fix the roads, have proper transport legislations, and enforce them legitimately and prudently like the 1st world countries and we will have less incidents as such. But NO..those in power travel safely via air...not even via public airlines, private jets that and the likes. The masses in return put everything in the hand of God..if other 1st world countries did the same, we won’t be striving to relocate to those countries. The roads are abysmal, the public transport custodian are crude and ignorant...ask yourselves where else apart from Nigerian and it’s cohorts do they have NUTRW, Road Safety and VIO ? Still the mortality rate on our roads is in all time high on a daily basis. The masses now made it a habit to pray before embarking on a journey...this is appalling. RIP to the dead. |

Every Nigerian now wants to become journalists. No thanks to mobile phone camera. I had same fate last year before Ikire, Osun State. Though lucky to be alive, one of the passengers died. One thing I remember when I was pulled out of the car wreckage was some people trying to take my pictures as if it was first aids. Till today I can't even say what they made of the pictures. Can't see them online. Thank God some people at the scene still had sense to call on ambulance. Naija which way? |

I saw this accident scene yesterday evening. It's like 4 different accidents between Abuja and Lokoja that yesterday evening. I was like...why so many accidents on the same day? May God continue to protect us. |
